Even once he comes out you won't regret. He is BIS on follow up attack teams and in Sim Uni but Fu Xuan's crit makes team building easier which is under-rated outside of DoT (where Huo Huo is queen) and he sustain will still be top tier outside of the few odd occasions where a shield is better than her mechanics (Monkey boss or big enough nukes to kill her with redirected damage)

Ruan Mei was the unit for me who quite literally changed everything. It's thanks to her that DoT now has a support because of how universal her buffs are and now I'm a DoT enjoyer with my Kafka + Black Swan + Ruan Mei team. Other than DoT, she's just the BEST support ever, I was very lucky to get her at early pity. I love Ruan Mei so much. EDIT: Queen is Top 1, absolutely deserved!

Kafka is easily the character I regret pulling the least. She opens up an entirely new style that takes little effort to get into since you don’t need to rely on good Crit stats, and just get attack and speed

@@crusty_twig It very much depends on characters and account but go for Huo Huo and/or Aventurine with at least 1 premium healer and sheilder be built, otherwise go for Jingliu if you don't have premium damage and Ruan Mei if you don't have her already.

@@mickaelb3382 get huo huo as her ultimate provides the Dot team with more value compared to aventurine. if ruan mei reruns first then get her and then get huo huo or vice versa if you are struggling hard to survive then get aventurine (we still dont know when huo huo and ruan mei are gonna rerun but i assume ruan mei is going to be on 2.2) 130 pulls is enough if you are lucky, not to mention the extra 10 pull we are gonna get on 26th of april, the 300 jades from the livestream and other events where you can get jades like the one going on right now.

Luocha should be considered in the honorabl mentions imo. His healing is unparalleled and synergizes greatly with Blade or characters that consumes their own HP dmg. Although his healing is superb, the lack of buffs he provides deserves him an honorable mention

I know Blade is outdated but he saved my asş bro. I literally might be the luckiest casual players. When I get enough pulls for a character it was Blade/ruan mei banner and since my dps was Trailblazer at that time I know I needed to chose blade (plus everthing about him is so cool dude) but I if I didnt had Bailu I would still be cooked(I wanted welt when I first started but ınstead of what I want I got what I need, and I am thankfull lol), now my the team I am using most is Blade, Dr Ratio, Sparkle and Loucha

I wouldn't say Blade is outdated, just that he hasn't gotten a buffer that works for his niche. He is currently the only character that has split scaling with HP. If we get a buffer for him he'll be in a better position. People thought Jing Yuan would remain mid but it seems like he keeps getting shadow buffed (Sparkle, Topaz, Follow up dps set) Not to mention Blade makes for a solid sub dps due to his sp neutrality. He's my favorite character, pulled him and his light cone on his release and then his e1 on rerun.

I said twice within the video, if a character isn’t in this video doesn’t mean they’re bad. He is a good DPS, nobody is saying he’s not.

It’s not all DPS characters otherwise this would be a DPS top 10. If you think he’s better than Jingliu then that is fine, on your own list they would be swapped out, nothing is wrong with that. Nowhere did I call him bad, nor does him not being on the list mean all these characters are above him. That’s very account case-by-case, such as how you mentioned if you have sparkle.

DHIL not in this list is interesting but since the other two 5 star dpses don't care as much about who are they with(Acheron doesn't care about any specific Nihility units, and Jingliu can be slot in whatever harmony or whatever unit you have even though DHIL can dish out higher damage at high investment.). i guess it makes sense

Imo it's Jing Yuan ironically and debatably. Had countless f2p light cones to choose from when I first started. Carried me early game in calx farming, simulated universe, swarm disaster, gold and gears, moc and pure fiction. Even against the big bug boss and against pre nerf aventurine boss. He's pretty universal for the amount of investment he needs. Not to mention, he gets indirectly buffed every patch. Sometimes, I don't even know his actual path because you technically want his lightening lord to NOT attack swarms but 1-2 enemies and instead use his skill and ult to finish up swarms. He's quite the jack of all trades icing destruction, hunt and erudition path. If you want a do it all character. Hopefully there would be a support that advances summon speed in the future since there is already a blessing like that in SU.

If the criteria of the list is high investment. Then, I would replace Jingliu for DHIL as he is the best dps for MoC. DHIL's main problem is he needs high investment. Sparkle pushes DHIL above Jingliu and Acheron in terms of damage against 1-3 enemies. I would also replace Kafka with Silverwolf, if you view Kafka as a pseudo-support (DoT enabler). DoT is niche, so someone could get more general value out of silverwolf than kafka. I agree with the rest of the list. My personal order would be: 1. Ruan Mei 2. Sparkle 3. Acheron 4. Fu Xuan 5. Huo Huo 6. Dan Heng IL 7. Black Swan 8. Pela 9. Silverwolf 10. Tingyun

@@ngm6541 You are free to believe whatever, you want. From my personal experience DHIL does more damage than Acheron if they are hitting the SAME AMOUNT of enemies. Also, that's exactly right, DHIL has Sparkle, which is the main reason he competes with Acheron. Without Sparkle, DHIL is very limited because of skill point consumption, but this list is based on high investment, so I believe he should be on it.

I do swap around Welt or Sampo depending on what coverage I need, and recently I've been playing with a follow up team with Dr. Ratio/Luocha/Jing Yuan/whoever I can shove in that has follow up or debuffs. If I can get Aventurine I'll make it Aventurine/Dr. Ratio/Jing Yuan/maybe Luocha? maybe Sampo? I just wish that HSR would give more variety in types/classes in male units. I missed Argenti and Luka keeps dodging me so I have no physical coverage, and there just aren't any male harmony or quantum units in the game yet...gah. But if you need mono-imaginary...I have it...ha...

IMO, the top 10 Pull/Build Value Characters (in no particular order) consist of 1. Ruan Mei 2. Huo huo 3. Sparkle 4. Acheron 5. Jing Liu 6. Fu Xuan 7. Silver Wolf 8. Tingyun 9. Pela and 10. Bronya. I always encourage people to prioritise two sustains and Fu Xuan/Huo Huo are the best in the game (Aventurine could shake this up). Support Characters always get the most usage out of your account and last FAR longer compared to DPS characters. As for DPS because they are the most prone to "power-creep" and i chose only two, Acheron & Jing Liu as they are by a solid margin not only the strongest, but the easiest to work around which is crucial for newer players. I didn't include DOT or FUA archetypes as those are vertical investments and typically for newer players, having a wide roster is better than having a specific one for coverage, that said those vertical investments are more 'protected' as Kafka/Topaz will only get stronger with new characters compared to conventional hyper carries who easily phase in and out of use.

I stopped playing HSR for a short while last year and i missed out on The High Cloud Quintet and Kafka and only got back into it when Huohuo/Huehhueh was running. The period that i was gone was enough to generate enough pulls that i managed to get her to E1 which was nuts. I'm waiting for Kafka & Blade next rerun cos they came at a time i wasn't prepared/planning for pulling.

Respectfully no. Fu Xuan is two behind Ruan Mei. Fu was a mistake from the devs because she has effect res damage mitigation and is so easy a child can use her. Look at what feels 99% of MOC clears and you will see her. She is One or Two because you can't clear end game with a dead team. Fu literally provides all the sustain and crit rate buffs. She is the best sustain in the game and has been since her release. So again respectfully hard disagree with this.

as someone who does have e0s1 DHIL and a sparkle, i do have to say, he definitely belongs in the top 10 for sure, for me personally even above jingliu. i don't have her sigLC, nor do i have bronya built (yet), i just got her from the 300 selector. also, pela will be in my acheron team at all times, so i can't even make use of her ice res down and penacony set. i just never use jingliu nowadays cause her damage is just so low without her best team, sigLC and good relics

You can’t compare a dhil with a five star support to just a Jing liu with her best support either. If you did so JL would have him beat. Dhil is mid without sparkle and with her he is top 15 maybe but queen liu is probably too 5

@@Tam-lv1mp i would disagree with that. before the release of sparkle, yes, jingliu was stronger. but after sparkle came out, dhil was at the top of all tierlists, right next to jingliu. they are both very good, but arguably dhil is even a bit better than jingliu, because of sparkle. it's close though. what i mean is that although in earlier patches jingliu was better than dhil, now they are pretty much on the same level (if i had to rank them, they would both share second place, just under acheron of course). but of course that's just from what i've read and also my personal experience with both those units.

I don't think you need to add 2 crit dps in this list acheron alone should be enough as she is literally the best dps and you can easily swap silverwolf with Jingliu as she provides more utility and after sparkle release mono quantum is one of the most comfortable team to run and she is also very good with acheron. Can also consider topaz because of her synergies with other follow of characters

I think I only disagree with Jingliu. I'm not downplaying her strength, but she's "just" a normal crit DPS (and her strength isn't unmatched). I actually think Topaz would fit that position more if we're considering long-term value, because she enables FUA teams and her value will only grow with time (I don't have her but FUA comps have promise). The reason I'm not knocking down Acheron is because she's kind of a rainbow DPS, so that adds to her value.

You can go FUA and do crazy dmg even without topaz. Shes mid af, while jingliu easy to build and can brute force MoC even without ice weakness. Can your topaz do that? No at max she deals 30k without fire weakness 😅😅😅

@@reedsad4652 I don't have Topaz - I don't like her, I just think her kit is interesting. I think you're underestimating her though, her value doesn't lie in being a solo carry. She's a buffer for FUA teams, which is a particular niche that I'm sure will only shine more as time goes on. As fun as he is, chances are Ratio will be powercrept at some point. Topaz will last as long as her specific niche isn't replaced. Which will take more time compared to just a stronger DPS. That being said, she's not as valuable/irreplaceable as a Kafka who truly is the core of DOT teams, that goes without saying. Also, every limited 5* DPS can bruteforce. The incentive to fight "on element" isn't that strong (whether it's a good or a bad thing). The difference between being on and off element is just 1 cycle in MoC, so that's not really a great argument. Jingliu's advantage is that she's easy to build, no doubt. But she'll be powercrept at some point, that's what I mean.

Topaz is an enabler, she scales with her team. Her uniqueness is her strength - and this is coming from someone who dislikes Topaz. If say, the upcoming Jade does the same kind of thing, it'll naturally change my mind but right now, her kit is unique, which makes her more valuable.

If u want to make new team besides Acheron, Go for jinglui (in this run), and later ryun may (any day , she is worth it) and huohuo (I would have said luocha (as blade main) but his run is over Also if u wanted to invest in any thing other than jinglui for dps Upcoming firefly could be choice (it is estimated that she will scale on hp) Priority :- Sustain = buffer (need both , can skip adventurine if dont building follow up team) But he has good synergy with clara
