You could set it up with a displace modifier for Eevee as show in the beginning. I've had some luck with using two sun lights in the opposite direction with the second one with it's shadows disabled and a low intensity to simulate the light bouncing.

Hmm, just checked it here and there's no issue. My SSL certificate expired a few weeks ago but I've renewed it since so it should just work.
