little did you know, this movie was supposed to tie together a Michael-Multiverse the streets he was chased through are the setting of the Billie jean video, and down the street from Billie jean's apartment, is the smooth criminal club. Michael plays multiple characters in the universe, but his characters never cross paths. its actually a genius idea, he just didn't do it right. he was more focused on the music.

I dig the whole 80's stop motion music video thing so I find the "Leave Me Alone" music video to be fairly enjoyable and interesting. And the song is, while yes a bit silly & out of place in the context of how attention seeking Moonwalker is, great! One of my favorites from Michael, really. The part in this review that always makes me laugh the hardest is probably when Nostalgia Critic replays the footage of Michael Jackson shooting off the machine gun against other footage ("Make a change.." Harsh review, what you have to remember, is that musicians that are involved with films, generally are mish mash affairs but I remember watching this when I was younger and being completely in awe of the movie. Of course when you analyse it, it isn’t a coherent movie, but soooo many things are great about it, especially if you are a Michael Jackson fan. The music montage at the beginning is awesome. If I remember rightly, we didn’t have MTV back then so you couldn’t readily have access to his earlier music videos and performances. This movie was a great way to showcase it. In addition you got to see great new music videos and performances. For what it is, I’m thankful

As a kid I enjoyed this movie - my sister was an absolutely insane fan of MJ, so we had a whole wardrobe of records, CACs and, ofcourse, VHS when their era has reached us. This included. Back then it was cool. I think I tried to rewatch it when I was about 16, and good Lord, that was the biggest "WTF is this... this... I don't know how can I even call this!" moment ever.
