And this has been the trend we import way more than we export (worldwide) Nt only from China but this is after taking our whole trade in to account. Imports from China are never gonna decrease soon ,no minister or bureaucrat said that. Our industries from pharmaceutical, Automobile to Defence rely on inouts from Chinese market. No wonder we chose diplomacy over confrontation in Ladakh conflict it has been 2 years still talks are on(diplomacy) We export most to USA and import most from China. We have managed to maintain good relations with different countries for we need them for trade and for our industries. Indian trade deficit has increased by 88 percent to $192 billion in FY 22 Before covid 19 pandemic we had trade deficit we had trade deficit even when Congress was at power. This has been the trend.

We have twisted per capita income with High income inquality, significant number of people living in povery(800 million people get free ration,lentils,cooking oil every month under PMGKAY and NFSA - Govt of India data ) If your think rationally and pay attention to details ,stats available only then you can see the truth. India has potential no doubt ,but we don't have good managers we need to run this hugely populated,diverse,social faultlines ridden country. Do you even know the recent stats given by think tanks backed by govt agencies that about 10 percent of Indian population controls 57 percent national wealth. Understand the degree of income inequality in this?? How severe this is. Need outcome of this ? Okay UP govt has extended free food,ration,oil under NFSA by 3 months, do you know the number of beneficiaries in this ?? 16 Crore ( UP's total Population is about 21 crore) and still we are not poor nation ??? So what we are then?? Highly inequal then.

Indian students have too much of study pressure (I am in class 11 and preparing for engineering exam called JEE mains which is tougest engineering exam after China's engineering exam to get best college like IITs, IIITs, NITs , NIITs and so on and success rate to get in these colleges is less than 1% ) Almost all of Indian students have schedule like following: 8:00am to 2:00pm : SCHOOL 3:00pm to 6:30pm : Coaching for competitive exams ( Even my friends have coaching for 5 hours) 7:00pm to 8:00pm: Extra curricular activities like Sports , Music or dance( Not for all students) 8:30pm to 12:00am: Study Again 5:00am to 7:00am: Study Every middle-class Indian student feels that pain of studies and academics and due to these type of pressure Indians are successfull

A rare thing I wanted to mention is being an Indian CS student, I greatly respect a Pakistani CS scientist by the name of Behrouz Forouzan. His book on Computer Networks has greatly helped me in understanding the concepts of Computer Networks in a very simplistic manner. And also his book on Cryptography was very interesting with the details of different types of Ciphers and Encryption methods.

Other than IT Field, India is now leading in many things/technologies. India has alot to offer to the World. Some of them are below- 1- We have 3rd successfull space agency in the world "ISRO" and we are sending Humans to space in 2023 and also launching Chandrayan 3 in 2023 and launching our Space Station in 2026. 2- After Covid, many manufacturing industries has shifted to India from China. Recently Apple has exported 10 thousand Crores Rupees of SmartPhones from India. 3- We are making Bullet Trains on our own which are about to start in 2025, India's Metro system is 5th largest in the World Textile Industry is 2nd largest in the World after Bangladesh. 4- Made in India is also boosting. 2 days ago India has touched the record figure of 400 Billion Dollars Exports which is highest till date. India is slowly becoming next manufacturing hub after China. After Covid many Companies Manufacturing Plants have shifted entirely to India. 5- Our Digital Payment system is Number 1 in the World even beating USA and China and also our UPI System which even USA considered as the best money transaction digital system in the World and even USA is trying to apply UPI related systems in their banking systems. 6- Our Startup Companies which are becoming Unicorns are Number 3 in the World after China and USA. Our Forex Reserve is 4th Highest in the World. There are many factors in which India is becoming World Giant just like our IT Sector and there are many more which I haven't mentioned here.

as an indian i would have to say we have come a long way but we have way more to go . we havent crossed a particular benchmark in terms of economic prosperity . a minimum of ten trillion dollar economy with diversified revenue sources not only IT . manufacturing and RnD needs more investment . india achieved to become a 3 trillion dollar economy but struggles hard to channelise the potential of its talented youth .

Well Diversification is not always the key but it is to do what you are doing the best. China is largely a manufacturing driven economy but they dint have to *lose* their focus in that sector to jump into the other sectors they are doing well now..... The issue still remains at efficiency.. India a country that apoints 43 million people in IT makes about 84 Billion dollars in IT revenue While Ireland (a country whose entire population is close to 43 million) *makes 76 Billion dollars* in IT revenue so how is a country that employes less than 10 times the indian IT work force making equal money compared to *indias best performing sector with 10 times more than the number of employees in Ireland* so it is clearly evident that *we are 10 times Less efficient than the best performing country* even in the *best performing sector* and yet still have the audacity to thump our chests in pride claiming to be a superpower 😂 irony

These all things do make the youth inefficient. Our school system needs the young kids to teach them to be smart and do work efficiently.

I am an Indian and I can eventually say that stability is the key to success. If you have talent and have patience then you can achieve your goals without any restrictions. I am recently going through Pakistan's history in sectors of science, economy, and other sectors; I can eventually say Pakistan's success is stagnant just because of its unstable government. Hope it will do better in the near future. Hope for the best.

i work at a big 3 automotive company in US, where we collaborate with our Israeli counterparts. I am vey impressed by the hardwaork those people put in their jobs, their professionalism and hunger to get a job done. Nations are not built overnight, it takes years of work, commitment and direction to get to the place where anybody wants to be, nothing happens overnight.
