he also added the hellcat dash, seats, hellcats infotainment screen with engine management &all that, the console including gear shifter etc, etc etc.. so its truly a hellcat from the inside out drivetrain & interior is all hellcat except the frame, suspension and body shell, thats still a dakota which makes for a perfect combination making it truly an iconic 1 of a kind that is until others build ther own hellkota

It does not have the hellcat seats in the truck.charger is full size and Dakota is mid size pick up they do not fit with the console in the truck...and the door panels are still the Dakota panels......I know the because I am building a 2000 Dakota RT just like it only mine is 1969 Plymouth rally green with Durango RT seats John has done amazing work on his build it is by no means a cheap project to do....not complaining just stating I still have a few things to get for my build .... and no I am not doing a you tube video of the build.

I've been following this guy's build ever since he got the Dakota, truly wish that I could so this to my 4x4 Dakota, but it seems like there might be some clearance/mounting issues for putting in a Gen 3 Hemi.

holley makes complete bolt in kits to do the very thing you want with a 3rd gen hemi for so many different options to choose from and you don't have to buy the whole kit all at once, you can just buy the adapters or mounts needed as u go & ther extremely easy to make your install bolt right in and very affordable

He still hasn't finished the truck over 2 years later. It basically sits on a 4 post lift, 99 percent of the time. So sad!

He went and had the stocker 9.25 built up to a full trutrac/Detroit locker. The original clutch packs for the limited slip were fried.

As a full drag setup yeah, Greg has it down, following him on Insta and saw him when I was watching RK Nights a couple years ago. but John's is a full cruiser. Greg's might be better in terms of getting the power down, but for a build, fit and finish, John's has the full interior from a Charger/Challenger. Power doors, windows etc working off the ECU and he's planning on swapping the door panels to match, already running the Viper/Hellcat style wheels. They're both bad ass, John just has the social media exposure because of the long build video series.
