I just set two sensors up today in prep. for hurricane Helena. Works great. The tanks are outside on the other side of my house and sitting here in the livingroom using the app I can see the propane level percentage. Cool.

Very good video. I just replaced one of my batteries and this video made it a snap to do. One thing the video doesn't show is the rubber seal that fits in a groove around the bottom half of the sensr body. I had to be careful, especially around the green button, to make sure the seal stayed in the groove while re-assembling the halves back together.

Nice video, but you might want to show everyone how to replace the battery in the other piece, the tank guage indicator, as well.

What did you use for the gel on the sensor after replacing the battery?
@TheNorthwoodsRVLife Жыл бұрын
You can use just plain old dielectric grease. But to be honest, I've never used any gel on them and have never had a problem with the sensor reading correctly.

You need to reset and sync the sensors after you change the batteries?
@TheNorthwoodsRVLife4 ай бұрын
they will more than likely need to be reset, i haved changed them before they were completely dead and didnt have too, but more often than not they will likely require being resynced

Has anyone ever had there sensor fall off the bottom of their tank on the hwy? Wondering if some tape on it would help hold?
@TheNorthwoodsRVLife2 жыл бұрын
I personally have never had one fall off, but on our RV the pan that holds the tanks in place is solid underneath so they would not have a way to fall out, other RV's may be different, thanks you watching!

@@TheNorthwoodsRVLife Yeah mine is open to the road on the bottom, so not sure the bumps wouldn't throw it off?
@croxalls2 жыл бұрын
We use a piece of utensil drawer sponge cut to fit our tank rails, if the sensor were to fall off it would be caught in this.
