MOPP Level 4 Training (Highest level CBRN defense)

MOPP (Mission Oriented Protective Posture) (acronym pronounced as "mop") is a protective gear used by military personnel in a toxic environment, e.g., during a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) strike.
MOPP Ready - Protective mask is carried. First set of suit, gloves, and boots are available within two hours, second set within six hours.
MOPP Level 0 - Protective mask carried. Suit, gloves, and boots accessible/available.
MOPP Level 1 - Suit worn. Mask, gloves and boots carried.
MOPP Level 2 - Suit and boots worn. Gloves and mask carried.
MOPP Level 3 - Suit, boots and mask worn. Gloves carried.
MOPP Level 4 - All protection worn.

Ah, the army's CBRN training classes. It was a hot summer day, we were standing outside, taught how to don the protective gear both fast and tightly. I don't remember what the time limit was but it was near impossible, every time you failed you packed your stuff into your pouches, got back to your combat gear and started all over again. And when you finally got into the steaming hot CBRN layer, you needed to run laps under the scorching sun. And then the gas chamber training, now that was even more entertaining, haha.

I recall alot more physical training when i wore MOPP gear. The army would smoke us in MOPP gear as a punishment. The guys in that hangar look way too comfy laying back like that. You might as well give them a joint to pass around.

If a jets on alert status crew chiefs literally have to be on standby in case they need to scramble. We are stuck to a jet so often times when there’s no maintenance task that needs to be taken care of immediately we kinda just sit around. I guess that’s why other shops call us lazy ass crew chiefs. 😂

Kenneth Muller I am not completely sure, but I would say that you most likely would be able to wear contacts. You should ask a recruiter if you want a more concrete answer though.

オーバーシューズもしくは専用の密閉出来るブーツになっているはずです。 びらん性薬剤や放射性物質が散布されると皮膚へ触れた時点で破壊される為、頭からつま先まで外気を触れないようにしてからヘルメットやアーマーを着用します。

lol exactly. When people started claiming a mask was protection against viruses, I immediately knew it was lies due to my NBC training. Even a protective mask is useless when it comes down to it. You need a SCBA, and most importantly you need to contain cross contamination which no, "social distancing" does nothing.
