Deicide self titled , legion or once upon the cross
@danielwilson97243 жыл бұрын
@@johnvega2696 im with u , the first two is where Deicide were in full prime, Legion being a bit more technical but self titled being the only music tht legitimately scared me whn it came out cause I was all of 12 yrs old and besides Death or Cannibal Corpse, Deicide were my Death Metal introduction to extremely blasphemous music and I literally felt like Glen was conjuring something in my house when it was playing, I still get goosebumps just talking about it.. Once upon the Cross is the last album of thm I was basically on board with fully, though I like alot of tracks on Serpents of the Light they really started and eventually DID lose me after those records, and idc wht anyone says but I think the Hoffman brothers WAS the Deicide sound , especially the first two!! Those ridiculous awesome riffs with the gallop picking in it just ripped my fucking head off my neck Everytime!!!
@eldiablo37943 жыл бұрын
@@drunkswithguns4124 Also, I wonder why the mix sucked because it was recorded at Morrisound studios just like their previous albums. I think Deicide recorded everything from their demo through their 2001 In Torment in Hell album at that studio. They are famous for having a distinct sound to their recordings... and for some reason their album Serpents sounded way different from their other records like you stated. I wonder what they changed up that made that record sound bad engineering wise.
