@@BlueCheeseLucci The way they established time travel in terms of how it worked for them is that they return to the very point they began the destination. Old man Steve Rogers didn't do that at all as they somehow managed to return to the present 40 feet away from where he started. I also find it very convenient that the Time Keepers allowed Steve Rogers to even do all of that at the very end.
@bloodyneptune2 жыл бұрын
@Thomas Lawson the TVA said the Time Heist was sanctioned, but we don't know how much time passed between that and Steve going to return the stones. The finale of Loki could have easily happened before Steve returned the stones, and given the chaos of how many branch realties were created when HWR died, Steve's alernate timeline he created with Peggy was one of the many that went un-pruned. As for breaking their time travel rules, they didn't, just how we've seen the machine work. Plus, it takes to seconds to think of an easy explanation: in the alt timeline he lived in the would have had ample time to talk to Pym about all of this, and for Pym to alter his QR device to spit him out a bit of the landing pad. Either to ease them into 'holy crap he's old' or because Steve Rogers is a dramatic bitch to the end. Or, it was a screw up with the smaller machine peiced together. We only saw the big one work that way, the smaller one could have just malfunctioned, or not taken into account the five seconds of the planet moving. I still prefer "Steve had Hank Pym spend years working on a way to let him arrive more dramatically"
@TKL6262 жыл бұрын
@@bloodyneptune The timekeepers could appear at literally any point in time. They could appear near the end of the battle with Thanos and it would only be seconds in between when Loki drifted from his original time to near the end of Endgame. They could've un-pruned it, but we don't know that. I find that pretty bad they'd let this one exception happen because they saved their part of the "sacred timeline" and yet prune anyone else that didn't get to work on time. I can't agree with you on how old Steve could've gone back into the present until they say something about it. At this point, it's a continuity error.

The name of the cargo ship in the beginning of the movie is Murnau (as in F.W. Murnau, the director of the classic vampire movie 'Nosferatu'). Like the cargo ship in 'Nosferatu', the Murnau arrives in port with its entire crew dead and drained of blood. The New York scenes were actually filmed in Manchester's Northern Quarter, United Kingdom. All city lights, signs, and license plates were changed to match those found in New York. Leto was rumored for another vampire role, Lestat in Josh Boone's failed Vampire Chronicles reboot. The second trailer features the song "People Are Strange" which was previously used in vampire movie The Lost Boys (1987). This is Jared Leto's second comic-book role, after playing the Joker in Suicide Squad (2016). Pokémon was used as an influence on the portrayal of Morbius's powers, specifically singling out the series's use of light and color to portray the title creatures' attacks and abilities. During the final battle between Milo and Morbius, Milo says how their new condition is not a curse, but a gift. This is what the Green Goblin said in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). Morbius promises Martine that he won't go "full Dracula." Obviously, this is another reference to the classic vampire story by Bram Stoker.. Dracula first appears in 1950's Suspense #7 as part of the anthology comic book, but he's since gone on to be a big villain for Blade and the Avengers. He's got a very similar origin to the typical story, except that he's also fought Earth's Mightiest Heroes over the years. Most recently, Dracula has set up his own kingdom of vampires in the ruins of Chernobyl. In the second post-credit teaser, Michael Kenton's evil character The Vulture finds Morbius and mentions he is putting together a group to take down Spider-Man. This could be a way to get Morbius and the Vulture into the MCU. The character of Morbius can also be glimpsed in the bonus features of the Blade (1998) DVD, in a deleted ending. Matt Smith joined the film, after previously turning down other superhero film roles, due to director Daniel Espinosa's involvement and encouragement from his former Doctor Who co-star Karen Gillan, who portrays Nebula in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The best move Marvel can do to reject Sony's advances into the MCU is to make their own version of Morbius played by a different actor in one of their own post-credits scenes, creating a continuity discrepancy. Sorta like how they had their own distinct (lamer) version of Quicksilver when Fox was doing their X-men movies still. If Sony keeps saying "uh-huh!", Marvel has to say "nuh-uh" and draw a line in the sand with a move like that, to send them back into their own separate canon

They legally can't because Morbius is tied up in the Spider-Man rights. Sony can let them use Spider-Man but they can stop them from using any of his villains at any time. I was hoping that the new Blade would have made a cameo since after all Morbius is a Vampire.

Sony is trying so hard to make their own sinister six universe. Trying to have the success of Marvels sinister six here’s the problem there is no Spider-Man for this universe. Yet they make references to him like they do in the Venom movies. Also neither movie was rated R and also trying to make villains into heroes doesn’t work. Just like Venom also you just have bad CGI fights that all blurry and then slow. Not to mention the Batman Begin Rip offs with the bats and fish tank and all the bats at the end. Also in case you didn’t know this was a trying to be a universe you have the “I am Venom” line

Morbius was a C-list character so that sort of carries over into this 1st take on this film. I didn't dislike this movie.

Btw none of the bat facts are real facts in fact vampire bats don’t hurt prey they are like mosquitos but nicer and cleaner.

So I assume this means you will be reviewing Dracula: The Original Living Vampire soon, right? For those of you wondering, yes, that's Asylum's answer to Morbius. LOL.

Dracula is a living vampire?
@lloydconnor61762 жыл бұрын
I didn't see it yet but from what you are saying maybe the explanation of the Vulture returning from the multiverse could be the end of spiderman where everyone was breaking through until Strange casted the spell to make everyone forget who spiderman was. So he never truly crossed over he just was about to but got stopped by Strange at the last moment.

You just put more thought into making that work than SONY did.

Because they don't want to. They want Marvel and Feige to do all the work and they get the money.

I am pretty sure this movie is owned by Sony, so it doesn't in any way affect the MCU.
@DarkCreed2 жыл бұрын
When they already made Venom canon and Vulture turns up in this movie. Yep, it does affect the MCU.
@avalangrin49042 жыл бұрын
Not really. You never see the MCU pull any Sony characters (example: Venom or Morbius) into their movies or television series. Also you never will see Sony using any MCU characters in their movies like for example Dr. Strange showing up in a Morbius sequel. Kevin Feige plays nice with Sony so he can have access to Spider-Man, but that is where the partnership ends. Kevin Feige is not in on Sony’s desire to create their own cinematic universe with Spider-Man and related characters. So it’s not fair to blame him for Morbius just like it’s not fair to blame Sony for The Eternals. 😆😆😆😆
