Hey Leila, Release " Just Like That " ok, but not as a single ! beter on a new album. I think, as the new single, that's not a good idea, it'll turn out just like " Just An Notion ", a big flop, only in Germany and Sweden ( 2 weeks ) highest position only 22 ! The Netherlands and Switzerland (1 week), no quotations in all other countries, so you can see that you have to think more commercially. You should not think like a fan, but think to convince a not yet fan to buy the Voyage album! I think " Keep an eye on Dan " is much more pratisch and the best song out Voyage.

I think it's far from over, there has been a massive impact from the release of Voyage and how can it grind to a sudden halt? I suspect that new music for a tenth album is already being written, Bjorn is in a creative and excited frame of mind with what has happened, no-one would have ever believed it would have been him that would be so positive about continuing the ABBA legend. I hope to see what more can come from this incredible and much desired gift to the world that we know and love as ABBA.

The ABBA train hasn't even BEGUN to speed up yet! It started with a huge worldwide bang and has entered many tunnels. We have only seen the tip of the iceberg of this amazingly conceived comeback! What I would LOVE to see is for ABBA - the greatest group of all time - set a brand new precedent by having ALL songs from one album released as singles! many artists have come close, but no-one has done it yet! And let's be honest, if ABBA can't, then no-one can!

It would be nice if they were all bitten by the performance bug again but I always remember their age and I try not to project. Anything is a gift. Tango Elliott, I completely agree with you. Anything more would be an amazing gift for allAbba fans. When I hear/read negative thoughts on their ABBA concerts and how so, so long they’ve been working together for it to give us ABBA fans happiness and others too, (yes I know not all lol) an old reminder of what the definition is of the word “music” means.It’s also bought smiles, happiness, joy , in a world that has been ravaged and killed so many poor people and families. @@englishfortravelers8676 Paul turns 80 in June. He puts on a great show but his voice has suffered. There are always exceptions, but having seen him at various ages since he was 24, I can tell you age has affected him. In the case of ABBA, Frida has had hip surgery. Who knows what aches and pains they have. Yes condition is true but it is conditions brought on by age. So the same thing.

Thank you for yet another great release. I love your channel and how well you present ABBA with your soft voice My favorite songs on Voyage are "Don´t Shut Me Down" and "Just A Notion"! Every time I have my granddaugther in the car she askes me to play these songs, never thought that I would be so lucky to have at least one of my grandkids asking me to play an ABBA song. My taste in what´s a favorite song changes all the time and has done so ever since I became obsessed with them in the 70´. Cassandra is also a long lasting favorite. Nice discussion. I'd like to see a documentary on the Making of the Voyage album. It should cover their initial discussions on recording 2 new songs for the show, and going on to produce the full album. It would be really interesting to see how the band members felt being together in the studio for yet an other album, after 40 years. Surely, they would have mixed feelings -- memories of their youth when they were in love with each other and then the bitterness of betrayal and divorces which made them to split up. And now, the same 4 getting together again at a stage in their lives when it is more practical to see the reunion positively, leaving bad memories behind. This would make a very interesting documentary to watch. Also, by the way, @Bobby's Brother you are a master archivist. You put some footage of the members that I've not seen anywhere. It's as though you're a family member of one of the ABBA members! Thanks of your all your work.

I need to preface that I’m so very thankful for the fact that I have lived through an ABBA album release!! However, I have to say that since I was 13, I have been listening to bootleg versions of just like that on KZbin. It’s by far one of my favourite ABBA songs, and (potentially unpopular opinion) I think it would have been a stronger addition to Voyage than just a notion. I would LOVE to see an official version of it!

Amazing video, thanks for putting so much effort into this. I am very very excited for any new single release from "Voyage", but also about other releases happening this year. I'm sure we'll be getting some kind of "Ultimate Gold" compilation (incl. material from "Voyage"), but personally I pray that Agnetha's masterpiece album "I Stand Alone" will get its deluxe release at last. The original CD mastering sounds so poor and flat by now and it definitely needs remastering. Also there are quite a few bonus tracks and remixes from that album, so hopefully record companies and Peter Cetera will finally come to terms so it can be released. Thank you again Bobby for your excellent channel. Your research, detail and insight are just about at Carl Magnus Palm’s level. If you ever publish a book about ABBA, you will make a lot of fans very happy-No Doubt About It! I’ll make some fearless predictions. There probably won’t be another ABBA album, unfortunately. My guess is that Benny (who does most of the heavy lifting in the group) has enough projects to last him until age 120. But as you noted, one of the unfinished songs from the “Voyage” sessions could very well appear to coincide with the avatar concert. Another possibility: a new song in a couple of years to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of their Eurovision win. Finally, yet another new song to promote the avatar show should it open in another city (Las Vegas, for example). I attended the first “Mamma Mia” show in Los Angeles-the year 2000, I believe. Bjorn was in the audience and I came within a couple of feet of him before he was whisked to a backstage area. Eagle-eyed fans should be on the lookout during that first avatar concert in London.

Hi, as a die hard ABBA fan and ABBA collector since 1975 I always craved for a 10 dvd box (minimum) with all their worldwide tv appearances through all last decades. It should be spread into diffrent countries, for example all the rare tv apperances from France,Spain,Scandinavia,USA,Germany,Japan,U.K.,Australia and a mixed countries dvd with songs from tv like from Italy ,Holland or Canada (if there are any at all...).This is hard to implement,I know, there will be a lot of problems with copyright etc... But this super deluxe boxset would be heaven for me,there will be many surprises as ABBA appered sooo often especially between 1973 and 1982. And after this please release a SOLO boxset with all the wonderful tv shows which hosted Agnetha or Frida or the two Bś... For the ABBA museum shop I wish they produced a new set of ABBA dolls like the ones from 1978 from Matchbox but much more real and more beautiful. In days of 3d constuction programmes it would be great to build up the natural faces of the 4 members.And they could also make diffrent dresses in sets for a change. I would love to get the dresses from the 1979 tour or the ARRIVAL outfits in white :) i also loved if they produced the original ABBA logo with little lights, a mini copy of the backing logo we had on the 3 big ABBA tours 77 and 79 and Japan 80. I would totally flip out if we got new ABBA POSTER BOOKS,like the ones that were produced in the 70ies from Swedish POSTER magazine (we were treated with 2 ABBA only poster issues back then- these are lovely !!!) Highlights would be the release of the 2 songs that did not make in to the VOYAGE album,of course. I also loved an ABBA rmixes cd with a cool dj like MATT POP, I usually hate ABBA remixes but this guy ir really fantastic !!!! And can I have new ABBA rolled posters like the ones from SCANDECOR in the 70ies ? Oh,please ! 60x90 cm on high quality paper.10 diffrent motifs,sold seperately or in one huge collectors box, aaah I would treasure this sooo much !!! with so many people pleading for Benny to give the go-ahead for Just Like That to be released I stated a few times that I wouldn't be surprised if it gets added onto a Voyage Deluxe album. Every other album has been re-released as a Deluxe version containing additional songs that perhaps made it as a B side on a single but hadn't appeared on an album. And in this video he said that there were an additional 2 songs written for the Voyage album but weren't included because they need more work on them - mainly be himself. Although Benny has stated that he doesn't like the way how the verses & choruses come together in the demo versions of Just Like That - they're too choppy, yet they gave it to Gemini (altho a slightly different version) as well as in Chess "when the waves roll out to sea." And weirdly, just as the Voyage album was due for release it was allowed for Groenalund to release it. Why allow another band to record a version of your song if you don't like the way it all comes together? Then towards the end of last year suddenly a lot of KZbin remix versions of the demos got deleted ?? I believe this may be because Benny is going to give the fans their wish and in doing so wants the attention to be on the actual ABBA release version & not that of a YT remix copy. Maybe they could get the girls to cover 3 songs that were written by Bjorn & Benny but not released as ABBA songs - I know him so well, Another you, Another me & Story of a heart.

I would love that too but a) both Benny and Bjorn are quoted as saying they don't really like it as they think it sounds like two different songs. b) I wouldn't want it to end up as big a turkey as "Just a Notion". Did nothing in the UK apart from cause uproar when we realised not everything was as new as we had been led to believe.

I want to add that I think there will became new hits compilation with many, if not all tracks in new mixes. If your look at the concert trailer video, " Dancing Queen" at the end of that video is a new mix. Thank you for these videos!

Wondering whether there's any point in releasing singles? It kind of made sense back in ABBA's heyday, but with KZbin and Voyage already on CD and vinyl, I'm not sure? I would love them to release some of their old unreleased work.

When it comes to ABBA's overall legacy, the sound of ABBA, and Björn and Benny's techniques etc., it might be a benefit that I'm not only passionate about their work for 2 decades now, but that I've been painstakingly collecting everything I can lay my hands on - every bit of music, photo, video footage. I also think to have a good memory for bits and pieces, and love to put the pieces together into one big puzzle. I really appreciate your positive compliment, Sulamith, and I am equally thrilled to have that vast view, but what's really fun for me is to work all of this decades-long passion into these videos now, so it really pays off!

I'm going to see the concert in London on 1st October. For me, the next single should be either 'Keep and Eye on Dan' or 'No Doubt About It'. I like the idea of a deluxe version of Voyage with those 2 new songs and maybe some extended remixes? Not sure about a new compilation tbh, as ABBA Gold keeps re-entering the charts and is one of biggest selling albums ever. Although maybe a Platinum Collection would be interesting, with the new songs included. The full concert from Abba the Movie would be cool, as would a definitive Abba documentary.

I’d love to have a Blu-ray release of the videos and concert and a 4k Blu-ray for the movie.I was also thinking that it would be a great time to release the past albums in Dolby Atmos - Spacial Audio / 360 sound or whatever you want to call it, It would be like taking them to the future.

again a great video with many good ideas. I think it would absolutely make sense to have another single from Voyage soon and pushing everything in June with a brand new song. This is really the most likely szenario to me. It fits with a good marketing strategy to push the whole thing again. Though i'd love to see a full documentary i doubt it will happen soon as they always were reluctand to put themselfes into the focus as persons. They always kept low profiles and stayed very private... so i don't think they are vain enough to see the need for it... but who knows. So the deluxe version with two new songs to boost the sales and press again in summer is something i could really see happening... the 5th single ? Probably When You Danced With Me or Keep An Eye On Dan... i'd go for the latter because it did not get that much attention as When Danced With Me up to now.. and it might not help the album unless they came up with maybe a new version of that song - maybe not a shorter single edit, but actually a longer one, he he... but Keep An Eye On Dan is the song imo that's the most pop and radio friendly and might raise the attention of a "new audiance" who thinks eveything from ABBA is sweet and mellow.. again just a thought... I still doubt they will release Just Like That... but again who knows. And who knows what the huge sucess of the album did to their idea about sharing more unreleased stuff with the worldwide fans. I truely believe they are stunned with the success and maybe it makes the reconsider some things they were saying no to, seeing it was not just the hype of a reunion but their reunion has substance, musical substance, reaches a wide audiance, has an impact not just a sidenote.. a grammy nomination, Brits, Platinum sales... it surely does something with them.. so fingers crossed.

I still have faith for 2 more unreleased songs. I'd love to believe they finally remastered Just like that. But with a don't shut me down in the extended version I am satisfied. I would love Spanish versions of some songs, like they did in the past. The truth is that Abba always inspires me. There will be no substitutes for them. I will keep my eyes on their news. Hey hej BB. I think you are spot on with two new singles this year, and a track from Voyage.. Did you see a possible clue on yesterdays Official Abba News Letter with the "Song in focus" being No Doubt About It? With even anquote from Frida, this seems hardly a coincedence, as she leads this vocal! Its a perfect single choice, radio friendly, an will appeal to audiences of now and from the 80's. As we know Benny likes a "new" song to accompany a tour so I think your theory on a June release is also likely. We know there were 2 songs leftover which I thought would be saved for if the show moves to Melbourne. I'm now thinking these will be used as a single in the Summer, then a new track to accompany either a deluxe Voyage album next November, or as you say to go onto an anthology.. . Whatever we see will be a lovely additional gift!

In fact, I also thought the same thing about "The Visitors" and his 40 years, that they were going to launch the vinyl thing, but I also thought about "Voyage" Deluxe Edition, since there are songs that could be added as per example "Little Things (Version of the video of the single)" or "Just A Notion (Version of 1978)", although I also think there will be reissues of "ABBA Gold" and "More ABBA Gold"

Again you leave us an excellent video with many positives to dream about 2021 was the unexpected unpublished and fantastic return of ABBA and 2022 is the 50th anniversary of their first single "People need love" and we will have the Concerts in London and the 30th anniversary of the album "Gold" I honestly don't expect any new Voyage singles but since the album is a worldwide success and the Fabulous Four are very happy, perhaps for the Voyage Concert date they could reissue the single "Don't shut me down", with a music video and as a surprise, I would like a double or triple album that is a review of his career, 50 ABBA songs starting by "People need love" and ending with "Ode to Freedom" Perhaps, if Voyage Concert has a good impact, and the Fabulous Four are in good health and with a little more musical inspiration, we can dream of some more new songs. anyway, we are thankful eternal to Agnetha Benny Björn A.Frida for these wonderful comes back and put ABBA in the Podium of the Greatest Groups in músic history

What I would like to see released this year would be something more in line with the CD/DVD Deluxe editions that have previously been released, but there is more material still unreleased from television and concerts. Also, a re-release of ABBA The Movie on blue ray/4K with additional unseen footage, live in concert and from their time in Australia. It would also be very nice to see remastered videos of Agnetha and Frida, from their albums in the 80's and also the remastering of all of ABBA's official videos, several have already been remastered but not all of them. And hopefully a comprehensive documentary is now in process.

I would like to see The Visitors 40th releases.. 2022 also marks thirty years of ABBA Gold don't forget so it is bound to get a new version as it's a big seller and will tie in with the Voyage shows hits too. I wish I had tickets although I don’t know any other ABBA fans. I’d love to see the 2 new songs released and it would be great to see an ABBA single back at number 1 on the UK charts. Shame that streaming has destroyed that chance. If DSMD couldn’t do it, what else can? I would also like a documentary in their studio work instead of all the salacious stuff that we usually get on tv. I’m still humming Little Things all the time. I really love it though I may be in a minority.
