I love the BMR and the Looks dolls for the articulation, I would like better value and better quality fashion packs especially for Ken. I want Ken Extra dolls with the fun fashion. I’m definitely collecting the Ken Looks dolls

Funny enough...the blonde with the undercut ...stole my exact look from years ago. I worked in a store in Los Angeles where Miley Cyrus shopped....so I saw her all the time...I had my hair exactly like that ....then she came in with the exact haircut lol It was a joke between all of us that Miley stole my look lol.

I love Barbie looks I haven’t bought any they do sell out I’ve noticed online luckily the Target app you can get notifications for when they restock I’ve never seen these go on sale either I’m sure I debate too much instead of just buying one I love number 7 out of these 3. The 1st ones I’m not sure which numbers were my favorites but I def had 2 favs in those. I love the one in black with a fro and the blonde with all white outfit who was very 60s like Nancy Sinatra vibes for sure.

I prefer the Looks because they are like a sequel to Barbie Basics. I do own the entire basics line + accessories packs except for the 3 in B.B. 2.5 and also model 18 from 3.0 so I’m missing 4.....so in my mind Looks is BB 4.0 & the 2nd wave would be I guess 4.5.

@Lèmon Lēe get out of here! No I’m serious, please leave. Ha! I am totally kidding. Seriously though I had no idea. Well Bill Greening is doing a fantastic job and hopefully continues. Basics is my favorite line from the past and Looks is my favorite of the present. I can’t believe what I’m about to say this but I still need 3 more to complete my Looks series 1. I should have had them by now..but I refuse to pay 2nd hand prices unless it’s necessary. Soon I’ll be able to say “my Looks collection is complete.”

Love the video...I want fashion packs with the minimalist edgy fashion ( not crap I see for the Xtra line). It would be nice if they sell the bodies (only) for body matching as some fashionista can only be match with the dolls in this line🤔..and make Mattel early 2000s again... remember Models on location, Barbie fever and barbie basic, even the Star dolls with the nice fashion and real materials...yeah make Mattel early 2000s again...😁

I Love the Looks dolls they would have to be the best dolls, I have all of them now except the short hair blonde yet. I’m possessed lol, I have now started collecting the BMR dolls now I have 2 of the male dolls. 🥰💖

I bought the red haired one around the X-mas holiday and she is stunning. She reminds me of Lil Kim & Lil Mama The long dark-haired male doll looks more like Arnold’s love child, Joseph Baena 🤭.

The Basics dolls were better quality, but for the price, these are pretty good. I really do like the new and different molds, and I would rather have a made-to-move body with a better face and clothes than the yoga dolls. In Canada, a yoga MTM is $25, and the Looks are around $35, and I’d rather pay that difference.

I've always disliked most of Mattel's stuff, but these are fantastic. Love them. Maybe Mattel has finally figured out that people want articulated arms and legs.

I agree i really like this line, the serious look and the not smiling etc but one thing that use some work is the hands. if they made the hands removable and have different hand gestures would be fun. Peace sign, fists, pointing, thumbs up, okay and holding

I like the different looks in the Looks, and also the made to move bodies. I don't like the clothing. I think they are cheap looking. I get that black goes with anything, and silver does as well, but what Mattel has done with the Looks, doesn't seem to go together. They look cheap and thrown together.

I wasn't able to get any Looks dolls until the end of last year, Model 9 and 4 of the old ones. I'm not as over the moon with them as most Barbie collectors seem to be. I dunno if instagram ruins the thrill and surprise of getting a new doll because I've seen other people's photos so much, or if I just don't care about unique face molds as much as other people. They're fine, but if they canceled this line it wouldn't bother me, unpopular opinion I guess.
