Ha on my channel i explain this problem. Easy fix there are 2 kinds of c5 alternators.

So since you changed the reverse lights back to the LEDs have you replaced the reverse switch? Did it break again? Was the issue the LEDs? I changed mine to LEDs literally yesterday and don’t want to cause weird issues just to have updated lighting. I like how it looks MUCH better but these are old cars. Gotta cut them some slack lol

I crack up with with your with your generation and the thrill of LED bulbs. They are NOT good for the electrical system.... for example... my 97 camaro SS with daytime running lights. Whenever it blew the turn signal indicator on the dash illuminated the faulty bulb... the whole electrical system was weird but very voltage sensitive... instead of installing the right oem bulb recommended. I cheaped out and went with a 3057 instead of a 3157na like the manual says.... turns out the bulb got really hot and melted the base of fixture and I caught it just by a plastic smell. Too much work to do instead of doing it right the first time 🙃
