Have we found out for certain if the orphans were forced to work at the factory when they hit 18 and aged "out of the system"? Was that why Play Co saw their employees as expendable? Well, 49-year-old Bart fell seven feet to the floor while trying to stock the shelves. "But, don't worry, Jerry is going to turn 18 soon and he'll replace Bart." Heck, for all I know, Play Co. could be worse than real world American fast food restaurants that pretty much 14 to 17 year old teens like mules.

Seeing now as it is mentioned that Elliot died at some point before the Hour Of Joy, either one; he took his own life when found out by law enforcement which is unlikely because of his connection to Poppy, or two: someone got rid of him. I believe Leith or another high positioned employee had something to do with it.
@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon6 ай бұрын
I'm betting it was the second one. Had to be one of the higher employees that got rid of him. So they could start turning the kids and employees into Bigger Body Toys.

@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon only problem with your theory is that it's very much known and implied that Elliot knew about the experiments. I mean you can find a document of experimenting with the poppy serum in his office. But I do not deny the idea one of the higher ups may have rid of him, though said reasons may be unknown. well, we can see that his last sign of life was in the Poppy Playtime 3 ARG where he is talking on Leith Pierre's computer and he says something similar to "those damn huggies ran away again" This message was from 1981. It can be said that he died in the early to mid 80s after this message. Because what it suggests is that the book at the beginning refers to the end of the 80s until close to the time of joy. probably 1994.

He died before The Hour of Joy as I'm trying to figure when this employee handbook was printed and handed to PW. Nearest I can suggest is that it was either printed in '93 or '95. '93 because Boogie Bot is listed as the new toy for Christmas 1993, and his section in the book just shows his NFT CGI version, not an illustration like the other characters. Or '95 because at the end of the book is the employee calendar where PW leaves notes about what happens on each day leading to the HoJ. In his notes, PW mentions he's been an employee for a few years before he got this handbook. He also mentions he never met Elliot outside of his office and only went into his office once after Elliot died. So somewhere between 1990 and 95 (depending when this handbook was originally printed) is when Elliot passed away. It does seem likely that Leith got rid of him as PW mentions he's taking over the factory and "thinks he's carrying on Elliot's work, his traditions."

Should of had🤔 They were well aware of the danger these things possessed yet there is no signs of security, guards, or even surveillance systems The most security that you can find both before and after the “hour of joy” is strong doors which is not entirely verified over its effectiveness considering the rise in problems The monsters within prolong ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/hn6qgqyfr7ucntksi=2AMtakUmrjO4Jo2c ) demonstrates the lethality of the bigger toys but also shows how there is a large lack of security for subjects they are well aware of their capabilities

I kinda hate how a lot of the lore is locked behind a book, especially when the books more expensive usually than the actual games and it kinda sucks. You shouldnt have to pay for a book in order to get the full story/a lot of lore. Fnaf did this wrong, poppy is doing it kinda okay but still I feel like shoving a ton of important lore in book instead of yknow the games themselves is kinda sucky. Id rather play the games and see lore like its supposed to than some book. But over all, Im excited for more lore, just hate how its executed.

Tbf it would cost a lot to rewrite the story and try to cramped in all lore into the game. Especially when the game is in the Y/N's perspective. And Maybe they tried to focus on wide range of audiences so they're focusing more on the gameplay (and a bit of lore). The rest of the lore are for those who want to know more about the games in detail.
