This video is really in response to all the comments suggesting for me to expose Roleplay KZbinrs that make 100 Days in Minecraft content. I see it all the time, so I came to address it and be done. My view on Minecraft 100 Days as a trend has changed. The original video still makes meaningful commentary on stolen content and how KZbinrs take shortcuts when it comes to making content. But the Roleplaying 100 Days KZbinrs discussed in this video are probably some of the hardest-working KZbinrs in the Minecraft community. So, it was 100% wrong on my part for having misrepresented them in the original video, and I hope that more people will get to see how genuinely epic (and not fake) these KZbinrs are, just as I have over the past few months!

Rguyrocky cheats in a different way. He will usually say that he needs a brewing stand and that he'll go get one. He then cuts to him in his base with a brewing stand and blaze powder but later when he goes to get blaze rods to go to the end, he'll get the achievement for getting blaze rods. After watching quite a lot of his 100 days, this is a reoccuring cheat.

tbh, I still dont like 100 day roleplay videos, I probably would have liked them better if they didnt have 100 days in their title because it just kinda feels they are artifically making the roleplay in the video longer to fit in those 100 days. I think that roleplay and 100 days can work well together, its just that I dont want roleplay 100 days that are "100 day videos" for that to be put in the title but instead to improve the 100 days with something more interesting that could only be done via roleplay

Yeah I agree, but at the same time, I can kinda see the necessity of it. Unfortunately purely role playing content is and has been dying for a while now so I guess in an attempt to stay relevant they have to follow trends even if it’s not exactly a perfect fit to what it actually is. Tbf, seeing the role play 100 days feels more like it’s aimed at a younger target audience or at least one that doesn’t mind seeing mods in game. Personally I don’t like mods or even texture packs to some extent because it’s not (in my eyes) what the game is supposed to be. Mods I’ve had issues with in the past and watching someone play a mod I know nothing about feels like I can’t benefit from learning with the creator. My issue with texture packs is two people might use two separate texture packs and for one of them their build looks great but to the other they’re wondering why they used water melons as pillars in their build. So building it in default textures means I can’t go wrong.

I feel that the main goal is to indeed, survive 100 days. Is also to try and accomplish as much as you can in that short timeframe. It adds a lot more challenge to your playthrough and I've seen many creators build such huge mega bases, collect as many resources and rare objects or slay eldritch beasts and demons, All in the same world without dying once (most of the time) its very inspiring tbh those types of videos you mentioned in the video however are like spin-offs to the 100 days challenge. it's not for me but I also agree they look very passionate about their stuff.

I remember Bronzo and Maxcraft and I enjoyed pretty much their vids, but every video was literally the same mistake on the editing part, once they were too lazy to even remake 1 shot ( literally the guy who was spawning mobs behind wasn't invisible ). The roleplay videos enhances the 100 days videos by putting in an entertaining story but that aren''t the "100 days" original challenge itself, It is infact a Roleplay video incorporated with 100 days. I dont watch roleplay videos so I dont exactly know their format but as long as it is entertaining people and not hurting anyone then it's alright. I used to watch bronzo and ryguyrocky but eventually I just it repetitive for ryguy it was "farm secret base explore slaughter house" until he changed it to like a manhunt thing and with bronzo it was spawn in as a baby build a house find a friend make enemies find a witch and get potions and enchants fight boss"whereas people like Moose Sb Luke and many others who put diversity in their content lose viewers because they're to caught up in the bullshit mess that is role playing 100 days. idk honestly it makes it much harder to find real 100 day videos now because of all the “fake” ones. they only use the title to get clicks from people trying to find legit ones. it’s dishonest. it doesn’t matter how much effort someone puts into something if they turn out to just be click baiting. it shows they themselves don’t even care about the effort to make those videos in the first place, let alone the effort people put into real 100 day videos.
