honestly FFXIII feels like the DS2 of Final Fantasy. Both tried a lot of new things and didn't necessarily exceed in everything, are overhated by the fandoms for being too different but are damn fun games if if you look past the flaws and stop comparing it to other titles

If XIII is the worse you can do, at the worse of times, fuck man you have some real fucking talent if you can add XIII at your resumee as your "bad game". Today there are games that wished were a fraction of what XIII is: as a piece of media, as entertaiment, as art. Considering i have 35 and i been playing Final Fantasy since i was like 5, this series fans, as any fan: just love to hate and pick up bullshit they don't even understand - let alone replicate. XIII has many virtues, and there are plenty of reasons why it is the favorite in the series for many, as every other game in this franchise full of virtue and talent.
