You have some wonderful ideas and this rates amongst the best. Probably about 20 years ago the first foiling came out, I used a soldering iron and used cardboard stencils to make a pattern, the foils were actually made for nails but did a wonderful job on paper. I also used a glue stick but didn’t iron it so it wasn’t very good. You could use the nail glue but I couldn’t get any. So sorry for the long post but you made me so excited to watch you. The day after I viewed this video my brother in-law stopped by my house asking me if I could use this. It was a box of foils. He had no idea I was thinking about this. Totally amazing.

The photo corners, hole reinforcements, and the ironing techniques are amazing. This is one of the MANY things I appreciate you for-that you always go the extra mile for us because there was going to be no way I could get even a laminator right now. But that iron? YES, MA’AM!

It's like magic! I used some of the already used sheets to just add a touch of foil on some tags. There is no waste!

Amazon (among other places, I'm sure) sells iCraft Deco Foil & Liquid Adhesive. I've never used it, but I put it in my wishlist after seeing Mark Monato use it in a video. Reading about it makes me think the heat really isn't needed with the right glue... which is super cool! Thanks for the follow-up vid! This has so much potential! I'm kind of surprised more people aren't utilizing foil!

Seems I spend more time mucking around with experiments than actual crafting these days but have so much fun doing it. You can use Aleene’s tacky glue and let it dry then put the gold on. Works great!

You have to use embossing powder with versa mark and then foil the embossed image but you mainly do it to foil a stamped image

I think these are so cool too. I do have the Minc machine. Hmmmmm. I can just see you going around the house going I should try this, I should try that. Then your husband walking around with a piece of paper in his hand. “Hey, can I see that paper, I want to try something real cool.” 😂 I totally see you doing that. I think of all of the stuff I would do the reinforcements first. I love distress inking them so I would love some pretty foiled too.
