I hate to tell you, but the Ultamarc and the Happ trackballs are identical internally. The only difference is that the sensors are internal on the Alamar so they don’t get dirty. It’s also made for a three-quarter inch thick deck versus a thin metal deck. Otherwise, they are the same exact track ball.

@@Fast3ddie hey bro, thanks for dropping by. If the internals are the same, why is the Ultimarc so much smaller? I mean, you did say it yourself, you don't have much room under the control deck so there isn't room to mount a Happ. Not trying to be any sort of way, homie... just sayin'. I've been playing Happs for 20+ years and any other trackball is a runner up. Though I will say- the Ultimarc is a close second.

@@Scantron5k the Ultimarc is just a more compact design on the sensors which are optical and don’t physically touch anything. The bearings, the pins the ball everything else is identical and interchangeable between the two parts. Happs probably feel better in most of your experience because they’re well broken in on older machines. we also open hundreds Ultimarc and sometimes one feels better than another. I would have to say that would be the same way if I open hundreds of Happs since they are identical.

Trust me, if I thought the Happ was better in anyway, I would use it. I don’t care about cost or what it takes to put it in. We use the best we can find.

@@Fast3ddie I have opened and installed countless brand new Happs (used to work for an amusement vendor in my 20s). They can definitely vary on quality from trackball to trackball so I can confirm that. I just trust the brand that has the smallest margin of error between track balls and you can beat the living piss out of them. Incredible Technologies has been manufacturing the biggest trackball bar games you have ever played for the last 30 years using Happs. There's definitely a reason for that. Mitigating repairs is definitely a factor there.

Another factor would be the preciseness and slight of hand. When you play a thousand rounds of Golden Tee a year like myself, the small and subtle nuances matter when trying to achieve -30 under par or better. They read and respond like a motherfucker.

The led lights in the control deck is my favorite part bro, I know your last video you probably said how much that cost extra to add that. Would you mind telling us again about how much the adding the led to light up the plex control deck color. It looks sick man. People don't know how hard that is to do, it prob looks insane at night also. Def sweet, but give your grandma back her tv so she can watch the price is right you son of a b%=ch. 😂😅 hahah Nothing but love brother.

@@AJerseyJohnnyEntertainment shit man you know this tv was the shit 16 years ago lmfao. I guess I just didn't feel the need to go drop more money on a new 75 inch TV to stand 3 ft away from it. Video doesn't do it justice, but I could definitely give the TV some love haha. The RGB t-molding is an upcharge of $1,000 from extreme home arcades. I know that it is very time-consuming and not your average install but I'm not sure what the cost would be if you tried to buy it elsewhere. I actually don't even know who sells it right now. Hey bro, plasmas were the bomb. They had refresh rates of like 600hz. Lol 😆 It's OK I'm currently falling deep down the rabbit hole of HD Matrix LEDs on my VPIN. It never end brother. I like the whole pedestal look for a non gaming room. I could put that in my living room and my girl would have no problem with it. Ok, I'm not gonna lie, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Lol I don't mind separate rooms people have full of their stuff, but I'm more of buy or build the Ferrari and have 1 for pinball, 1 for games, etc. You won't see 100 pieces of cardboard and lights in my Netflix and chill theater lol 😆 enjoy your summer
