More Good: Acts of Human Kindness from all 50 States | Mary Latham | TEDxOrientHarbor

After tragically losing her mother to cancer, Mary Latham decided to honor her legacy by embarking on an epic mission. She is currently traveling the entire country staying with strangers while collecting stories of random acts of kindness. She plans to compile these stories into a coffee table book to donate to hospital waiting rooms, to help shine light during the darkest of times. Mary is a professional wedding and travel photographer. In 2009 she started the GrAttitude Project with a friend, collecting and distributing stories of random acts of kindness. She shared these stories in hopes of helping other people to find the goodness in humanity. Currently she is traveling the country collecting stories of human kindness from all 50 states while staying with strangers, to compile into a book for hospital waiting rooms.
