Nope, aside from GTA Advance and Chinatown Wars, every GTA game since 3 uses real time cutscenes, having the world and the characters look the same in both gameplay and cutscenes is better for immersion, there's also the fact that there are a lot of cutscenes in every game, so it also saves money and time

@@Crit-Chance They did, but they made the cutscene models in a way in which they were detailed enough to look good for the cutscenes, yet almost identical to their gameplay counterparts, i myself didn't realize the characters had cutscene specific models until i made a skin for Vice City and i noticed it didn't appear in cutscenes, it's pretty obvious in retrospect but they did a good job making the difference go unnoticed

Instea of making up bullshit movies or TV shows based off of video game series.. why not make movies and TV shows based off the 06-09 era of video games. The PS3/360/Wii era has never been beaten as hard as it beat the previous generation of games. They noticeably looked SO MUCH BETTER than the PS2/GC/Xbox era. (Sonic Unleashed alone for comparison) And the games got so much more serious than they needed to be. Halo 3, Sonic Unleashed, Red Dead, GTA IV, Smash Bros Brawl, Mario & Sonic Olympic Games for Wii, Gears Of War, Assassins Creed, Little Big Planet. You couldn’t possibly be bored in this console generation. The game Demos alone has me overly occupied. I grew up on Demo Disks. ATV Off-road Fury demo was more popular than Vice City at my birthday lol. Simply the flying off the bike after the giant hill. If you know you’re a true OG
