I've never seen an ARPG company so against people speeding twinked characters through the initial grind (campaign in PoE). They honestly don't want people to actually enjoy themselves, and want them to think of aspects of their game as boring, or work. Just baffling.

​@@jonnyjazzz what are you talking about mate? twinked leveling has never been nerfed, in fact since many leagues it has only gotten better. I level 20+ characters in almost every league, so I speak out of personal experience. Though I don't understand why arpg developers in general (not just GGG) are so against having a mechanism to skip the campaign entirely after your first playthrough (this doesn't exist in any arpg that I know of). I for one enjoy the campaign but since the endgame content of PoE is so vast I don't feel like the campaign should be mandatory aside from the first playthrough of each league.

We should be able to skip the campaign after doing it the first time. Allow us to level in delve, heist, maps (some scaling tech to get them to current level, also scale down rewards ofc), w/e..

On previous leagues, I leveled from 3 act on delve, without death penalty, do maximum lvl to equip build items, and rush acts, 1shot everything

Forbidden jewels have no level requirment so once you have access to 2 jewel slots its another easy leveling boost. Usually gonna use them in your endgame build too

You have not shown it as far as I can tell. Have you annointed the amulet with the 50% elemental damage node? The one left on the tree. Works on the level 5 amulet.

you can get better things as phy dmg isnt elem dmg and that would be more of a level 72+ it isnt that great with the rings as you need to use attack skills and cant use it at great effect for spells.

this game is overloaded with content, now its impossible to balance. Leveling imbalance, mapping imbalance, builds imbalance, crafting removed, league mechanics imbalance. And every time remedy is nerf to the point that nerfed feature is technically removed from game. So "insane tricks to level up faster", are expected to be nerfed soon.

Honestly I think leveling is the most fun thing in the game at the moment for me, I've been playing on Standard so I have access to all my old gear, and I have leveled probably 12-15 characters through the campaign and into early maps, just trying out skills and archetypes I've never really used before or are generally not considered not very good in the current game state, and it's been a lot of fun. Did a Lightning BF/BB Inquisitor using Battlemage and Brain Rattler, an SRS Scion, an Infernal Blow Chieftain (between Herald of Ash, Ancestral Call and Infernal Blow itself, clears entire screens with one attack) a self-cast Forbidden Rite Occultist, a Manabond Hierophant and a bunch of other characters, trying out different ascendancies, skills and leveling trees to see what is the most fun and feels best to play, and if I get sick of a character or don't feel like pushing them further, just strip the gear and delete them, start again with a new build.

I was messing around with a Poison SST Ascendant with Dendrobate and Obliteration. I don't know if it's GOOD, but it's neat and the explosions are great. Went Berserker+Assassin but Trickster might be better.

How are the rings corrupted? Vaal orb or through the Alva temple?

Vaal orb. Temple is expensive (in terms of opportunity cost), takes a bit of time to run, and can give you double implicits. With double implicits, there's a very good chance you hit a high level requirement on your second implicit even if the first one removes the level req, because it cannot roll the same implicit twice. Assuming 1/4 chance of implicit, and using the implicit weight data from poedb, the expectation of rings you need to corrupt with vaal orbs is about 70.

If you can get a waters eye with Armor when effected by determ it's insane along with facebreakers with earthshatter or ice crash then add on rigwalds curse with a skin of the lords. add in deadeye with onslaught. managed to take the wolves with this vs the 1st labs and kited him around till adds poped up then bam insta dead . managed to complete 1st lab at 28 being able scale your dmg with the wolves with facebreaker is nasty with the ammy+claw nodes you can annoit w.e on the ammy and just go nuts. was fun too you could add more damage with some of the op leveling rings instead deaths that give 1-250 lightnining dmg add in emperors shield at 46 and you can basically plow right through you can even pop in shield charge for faster movement skill and with deadeye+tailwind your quite fast as claw nodes with the claw ammy allow you to use it fast as hell.

Those wolves will easily kill everything up to Arakalii, and they will Kill Kitava (2.0) faster than most leveling characters. They are stupid good. I don't really know why you're trying so hard to remove the level requirement when it's only level 20 by default.

Most good twink leveling stuff is lv 12+. Having those wolves at lv 2 is actually great for getting there. And they still help a lot before act 3.

Honesly it doesn't feel that good with facebreaker as I expected. But I'm used to hollow palm technique. I tried it till like lv 30. Got back on my HPT gear and it was way better. Still kept rigwalds for faster bossing.

the implicit is what determines the level requirement, you have to corrupt it with a vaal orb to change the implicit to something that only does not have a level requirement

For leveling I would suggest double bitterdream with vortex on one for clear and creeping frost for bossing. Or good old hollow palm technique.
