The song is simply called "Action 18." The only version I have is a very mono poor sounding version. The guy who created the Jonny Quest documentary for You Tube (of which I have the entire un-cut version including all of the missing "segments") obviously had a full, wonderful sounding version of it, but he's never released it. So the Classic JQ website posted the version I have last year. They said they would keep looking for a better quality version of it.

There's still one piece of music that I associate with Jonny Quest that I've not heard on ANY of these selections. I'll have to re-watch the episodes and find a reference point.

If it's what I'm thinking of, remember the Treasure of the Temple episode. Quest & Race just cut loose the native staked out. The music happens when Quest comes to the conclusion that perhaps they better leave; there's danger all around us.

I'm looking for the "progression" that is used to "build up" to a major climax of some sort, such as when Sumi and Race are fighting in "Dragons of Ashida," Where Ashida says "Get up you fool" and Race catches and throws Sumi saying "Stop lying down on the job!" This is one of the best sequences ever for building not only suspense, but strong action. Anybody know where it is?

Send me an email and I'll send it to you. The Bad: Poor "TV speaker" sounding quality The Good: No voices or other sound effects in it; full version; I've considerably cleaned it up for hiss and used a stereo synthesizer on it. It sounds better but not great.
