They called her "Princess" Celestia because they were afraid children wouldn't like a Queen character. They almost made her pink, because they didn't think kids would like a white-coated princess. That is why so many Princess Celestia toys came out pink instead of white. I think she feels more mature with a white coat. She wouldn't feel as serious is she shared a complexion with pinkie pie.

@sadisticthoughtz For real! When I was a kid, I remember being pretty annoyed at the lack of "Queen" representation in media apart from the Queens of London, and Anastasia's Grandmother. Yet we had numerous "King" characters. Villain or not. So, yeah. Chrysalis gets to be a Queen because she's ~evil~, and Celestia isn't ~evil~ therefore she must be a Princess~. Queen Celestia, hoofs down. She's older than Equestria, and she's earned that crown.

I usually find redesigns boring since all they do is just change a character and that's it, no explanation for the change or really anything which gets boring fast. I genuinely love how you explain the changes you made and how you changed the story to something different. And I must say, by far the best redesign ever and I would genuinely love to read or watch these characters interact and just there day to day lifes. I really can't get over just how amazing these are, and it makes perfect sense as well. It's not confusing at all, I really do love all the changes you made from the designs to the dynamics between the characters. Mskes it so much more interesting to listen and watch the process.

Both of Sweetie Bell's designs were adorable, personally preferred the second one bc it contrasted with her sister. The celestia family tree would've made a more interesting story than what they actually did. Couldn't agree more about spike

The redesign is very cute, little guy, pretty color palette Personally never cared much about him myself I fricking love your Discord, his skeleton arm, his little hoofies!! 👏💞 Discord and Twilight being siblings is so funny given how much of a menace he is and how he'd harness her at times in canon. I didn't care much for the CMC either I thought they were kinda boring although Sweetie Belle is my favorite now. Though in redesigns I think Scootaloo is my favorite design was and Apple Bloom is my favorite personality wise. Did you retcon Zephyr Breeze? 👀👀 It might be because Celestia is rainbowy and *not* red, orange and yellow like suns or sunsets which is one of the reasons *I* don't like Celestia. (Ironic because I didn't change those aspects in my own redesign) You made her very pretty ✨ You and me both. Luna is the fav. She was my favorite through the series. Bat pony Luna supremacy!!! Hey, definitely dont change anything if you dont want to, but I wanted to share a bit of info- a lot of hearing impaired people (or people who watch with the sound off) like to watch speedpaint videos, but your video starts with a solid minute of .pngs floating around. It's just a little bit frustrating when I have to keep skipping ahead to see any actual artwork. I'm sure you're talking about something important or it adds a lot to your video! Just keep in mind the wait time maybe if you feel like it! Your art is so pretty!
