I thought everyone kind of knew pinkie was chubby, like she works at a bakery I could understand someone not thinking she's black but in my own head she is ( mostly because of her hair lol ) like I have ​my reasons😭@@littlebink also Rarity and Fluttershy have always been my favorites with apple jack being in third and personally I've always seen Rarity as a white girl ( obviously because she's a white pony lol ) but I think with her character being black it really compliments her outfit and makes her make up stand out more lol live these redesigns💗💗

@@stickfiguretree5411 So some of the reason people have an issue with the whole "Pinkie Pie is chubby" is because in the comics (and understandable everyone doesn't know about that) she basically says "it doesn't matter how much I eat I never gain weight". So she's kinda like.... shaggy? Doesn't have to be scrawny but the implication she's very overweight is a bit off lol. However, I will say this, let people have fun lol. But that goes in both directions too. I've seen people be harassed for not drawing Pinkie black for years. That harassment is just as bad as what people have been doing lately, and some people (not nec anyone here) have been absolute hypocrites about it. I also don't like the implication that people with these issues are racist or whatever by default. That's really unfair honestly. Many have logical reasons for the disagreement, they're just being assholes or stubborn and not letting others have their fun. Racist is a really serious accusation and it's not really a fair accusation at every vocal disagreement on certain character's skin colors.

​@heavennunya809 I was going to comment the same It's super annoying when people want to force uncanon headcanons on others, and I mean uncanon HC since the show portrays all the ponies in fantasy colors and not human skin color. Not to mention all the accusations of racism ad homopobia against people who desagree whitThose HC, I personally don't put Pinkie as chubby and black, and I really don't think much about their sexualities (maybe Twilight as an Ace but for a more personal connection) for the skin color I normally took the fantasy color and use that to find a human skin color for them and that's it, that doesn't make me or anyone who does the same racist, being told that we are racist just because we don't have a HC is stupid and offensive

Necessarily; Pinkie Pie *isn't* black in a more technical sense, but she gives off those vibes because of her main and tail being extremely puffy. And essentially , Imagining her as a black human character can equally make sense as much as a character thats non black with puffy hair included. It would physically work both ways in a way. (but it doesnt exactly necessarily mean its fact) I like how people could imagine these characters regardless of the skin tones that those people envision these characters towards with specifically much. Its interesting and uniquely creative to seen and watch directly.

G4 is the first gen I watched & loved it. Equestria girls is fine, out of all of them Sunset’s outfit is definitely the best. And the dazzlings outfits too. I also wish they put them in college because Twilight is possibly an adult in her world because she has her own house & she can travel on her own, so it’s weird that she’s in love with the human Flash & the pony flash. This is the first video I have seen of yours, first of all your art is so cute and nice to look at and I really like the human designs. oh my goodness. this is by far the BEST mlp "redesigns" EVER. I lovelovelove how their skin and body type MATCHES. like almost EXACTLY to what I thought of. This opened my eyes to see rarity "possibly" being black. I was thinking she would be East asian(specifically s. korean). But WOW, I can totally imagine her being a drag queen during her free time with her gorgeous big hair! (not that I'm saying Asians can't be drag queens, that's stupid. I just mean i feel that being black in drag is so powerful and it definitely fits her generosity character like how i see drag queens/kings).

I allways saw rarity as having similar skin as me. So white to the point it is pinkish. When she is cold her hands and what not would do the whole blobs of redder colors. She is also almost allways covered in sunscreen that smells like perfume. Rarity is the one i like the least x.x

When redesigning the mane 6 as humans I focused alot on hair and how to make their human hair as close to their Pony Hair, for characters like Twilight & Fluttershy who just have Straight banged hair or whag could be considered Wavy hair doing that’s not hard and unrelated to race, but for a Character like Rarity whose hair has such a specific thing going on, I spent a long time trying to translate it from pony to human. Eventually, I came to the decision that the Silk Press Black Ppl do with their hair, where it’s straight at the root and then curled at the bottom, was the most similar to Rarity’s in-show hair and thus, she is a Black woman. Similarly, Pinkie Pie has an afro so she is also a Black woman. 🤷🏻‍♀️ all this to say I agree Rarity is fr a Black Woman

I love them, and I think AJ could've used a bit more love I've seen people lean heavily into her being country but there's a lot more to it than just the overalls and cowboy boots, it's heavy labour work so she's definitely a little sunburnt and got a lot of freckles from being out in the fields all day. Plus, I don't think she really minds dressing up from time to time, given how her and Rarity have come to the agreement that she lets her help her out with outfits. AJ DOES have a good taste in clothes but they're very simple and usable day to day. She's heavy on sentimental things and values her family, she adores her little sister and absolutely cuts it up with her older brother. In the episode that she was learning about her parents, she was surprised when learning about her mom, however between her and Applebloom, she was the one rhat was quick to trust Grand Pear and accept him as family so they can mend that rift.
