I'm at the verge of losing my mind: Not only are we going to see the Switch 2 in just 4-5 weeks at the latest, but they'll inevitably show the next footage of Prime 4 running on it with a big graphical leap, the next 3D Mario and third party games like Elden Ring. As soon as the week of January 6th starts, the bombshell could literally drop at any moment. I can't wait for next week to pass so things can finally start moving already.

I really hope Nintendo knows what they are doing with this shut mouth approach. The switch 2 better be an amazing system that plays just about anything and makes me a cup of coffee afterwards or else Nintendo fans everywhere are going to be PISSED that they waited so long for a piece of junk. The system needs to be able to handle the NEXT 8 years of games. Honestly all the silence is doing is unreasonably raising people's expectations.

Yes that would make sense. Protocols have been made to point out AI generated content, why not have marks for leaked footage and fan made content as well.

I still 100% believe that Pokémon and xenoblade will be used to highlight switch 2 , I think those along with Metroid prime 4 will be just like breath of the wild and they will come to switch but they will have switch 2 enhancements and will be used to show case the difference

Pokemon has literally never been a graphical showcase on the original switch I doubt they wanna show a poorly optimized game on the switch 2 right away

@The_MEMEphis Considering Legends ZA will release for both Switch 1 and 2, and that Game Freak haven't shown anything since announcement, it probably will be a launch title for Switch 2. Zelda released two years ago and we haven't heard anything about a mario game.

I don't understand why people insist on comparing the Switch 2 with a PS4, the PS4 is already a very dated console. while the Switch 2 has much more current hardware. Ampere/Ada is a much better and newer architecture than the PS4's GCN 2.0, even in portable mode the Switch 2 will be much more capable than the PS4.

i really want the docks to be compatible with the og switch because they are so much more expensive than they should be which makes playing docked when you live in 2 houses much harder 🥲

Will be hard to implement that for the new docks since the old switch only has a USB-C input. I dont think that gives enough power
