More playing with Pebeo fantasy paints! Enamel canvas artwork...

This time I decided to use a canvas. Instead of using Cerne relief, I used Dovecraft 3d effects which is actually quite similar but is cheaper! The resulting picture resembles a an enamelled tile - so effective!

Good luck! Sadly I didn't get round to using the rest of my paints quick enough and they all dried up :( so keep that in mind!

The canvas was great, it was one I bought in Tiger. I like how it's flat rather than in a frame. When my husband saw the finished piece he said it looked like a tile :)

Beret Nice I work a lot with canvases and the Pebeo paints and I had to put a sign out at my shows because people kept thinking they were tiles. They'd go to pick them up thinking they were heavy and almost hit themselves because they were actually so light lol. This is really pretty btw. I work in a few different mediums but discovered the fantasy paints this winter. I love the illustrative style the liner is able to provide. I just finished a big birch tree piece with black 3D liner but gold is another of my favorites! Great work!

No, sorry. You just have to squeeze the tube with even pressure (easier said than done!)

I absolutely love this piece!! So beautiful!! May I ask where you got this design?? I have had these paints for quite some time. Bought them at an art expo. I am going to make a series of 3. I was thinking of doing a scene in this matter for each, but now I think I'll do a design. Thank you for the idea!!!!

Thanks for subscribing Sue. I wonder if they thicken over time as they get older? Mine were new when I did this video. I haven't tried them since so maybe mine have thickened too...

Mine were thick too and I added a little solvent and now they are great! I’ve been using Paveo paints and looooove them.

Is it possible to varnish these after completely dry or is that not needed?

I think it would be possible, but really it is not needed as the paint dries to a varnished finish (shiny and solid).

Non, c'est une peinture spéciale (comme émail) donc on ne doit pas ajouter de l'eau :)
