I'm glad you had a great experience at the PC in Calgary! So funny you mentioned your dry mouth because it was the same with me lol my lips were hurting so bad! I scooped a bunch of candy out of one shoebox...like a lot! I'm sure the people that gave it had no idea and meant well. Yes, there were a lot of shoeboxes with used items. You could tell a mom likely went around her house and threw toys that her kids no longer wanted inside. 😐 I had a lot of similar experiences that you did. Thanks so much for sharing this all with us.💗

I'm not totally sure what you mean by 'in kind' donations. It would be cool if they set up a sewing room for volunteers to make filler items. I'm going to sew some hats and scrunchies this year but it would be fun if you live near a processing center to do it with others for the fellowship.

That’s how they refer to it, since they’re not a monetary gifts. It just means specific items that are donated. Oh that would be cool! I was wondering how they’d go about the sewing projects if sewing machines and sergers were donated. Love the ones you’re wanting to make!
