The whole idea behind "The Cavilrene" was when Ryan Reynolds and the Director were thinking "Okay, if Hugh Jackman really was retired...and we had to recast Wolverine tomorrow...who would you put at the top of 'The List'?" Henry Cavil was the first guy they thought of.

I think it's funny there's so many debates on who has the better healing factor Wolverine or Deadpool when the easy answer is deadpool and this montage points that out more specifically the post apocalyptic scene with the feral wolverine with the crazy hair and most notably one hand and a stump, deadpool cut his hand off in the first movie and it grew back in what basically amounted to a day in movie time seems like the better healing factor to me
