Hi @MrAlexTech Have you created a tutorial on how to create a transition where a person starts by looking towards the viewer, then swipes their hand left to push themselves and the entire video off the screen, and finally replace it with a new shot?

Thanks for the 'heads up' on some of DVR's capability. I'm a newbie trying to teach myself video production skills to augment my stills photography experience. So I subscribed to learn more. I bought the Studio version (no hesitation) and just need to get out more, shoot, edit, review, learn and repeat until I'm less of a video novice. I know it takes time and effort but I'm committed to learn more to 'up my game'. Perhaps luckily, I'm doing this as an amateur and can afford to buy decent gear, devote a reasonable amount of time to learn and grow. It would be hard to try and make a serious (pro video) living in the background of trying to up skill my video capability. I just wish I could learn super fast, absorb new ideas, concepts and grow as easily as I can buy books, training, gear etc etc. But alas it takes time, effort and perserverence to stay on track and get pretty good. Good and quick don't naturally fall into the same sentence. It's an ongoing marathon not a few short sprints.

Alex: Thanks. Your short videos are really appreciated! I used Premiere Pro for about 20 years! After a few years of subscription I found Davinci. I had a look at the free version for a week than bought the studio Version, more out of gratitude, than out of need. From version 16 to now 18.5 without any costs to upgrade! Remembering the days of upgrading form Premiere Pro 6.5 to CS3 than CS6 than CC subscription. I spend so much money on it. But there is still one thing I use CS6 for: The Adobe titler. I export it as images and import them into Davinci. I have not found anything that can match the Adobe titler in Davinci yet. I have lots of templates in the titler and apply the one I need. To make titles in Davinci is really a pain in the neck. Each time you have to specify everything anew. If you have any tricks for titles in Davinci let me know. It would be appreciated I also bought a Blackmagic camera, that is really awesome and even got a second license for the Davinci Studio Version...

The clean feed was the one feature added in v16(.5 I think?) that pushed me over the edge and switched from Premiere and abandoned the Adobe sphere completely. Before then, it required proprietary Blackmagic hardware and I couldn't justify the cost. But, that feature (and a showcase video from Jazza) got me over the edge. And I really couldn't go back. Also. As it is a one time fee. Compared with the CC subscription, I was actually saving money within months.

Watching the analog damage, it made me think of the remastered Babylon 5. It was produced during the analog tv days and the 3D artists relied on the blurring to smooth out some mapping and rendering that would look a bit fake. the new digital TVs are so sharp, you notice the simple mapping and other rendering issues from that time frame with 3D software. Had they blurred it slightly during the remastering process, it would have looked much better.

Hi there. First of all, congrats on the video. I've got a question: I own the studio version and I want to adventure into the stop motion world. Is there a way for me to delete the rigs in DaVinci (including Fusion) not using any adobe products? Ermmm I'm not sure tbh! I've no experience whatsoever in that field to be totally honest. There is the Object Removal tool which may do the trick? You can create a clean plate to delete objects from the frame. Have a search on here, there's a few videos demonstrating it!

Thank you as always Alex! Anyways I have some problem when shooting out in an open area in the morning. The sunrise makes the light gradually brighter and brighter. The background is at outdoor and mostly white, and the main object (person) is in the building. So there is gradually more and more of white color in my screen. Also I have some limited that I can't use auto light adjusting function on a camera. So I try to fix it after production using Davinci Resolve color grading (I use studio version). I have some concept in my mind like use and adjustment clip that is gradually decrease a white throughout the video but I can't do that because I don't know how LOL. Do you have some idea about this? Thanks!
