More shocking Chinese toys (electric shock pranks)

In this video I test another 3 electric shock prank gadgets from China. An electric shock hand grip, an electric hand buzzer and an electric shock pen. I make a teardown of them and reverse engineer the schematic. I also measure the output current and the peak voltage.

Shock pen is easy to make. You only need sparker from the lighter :)

That's only piezo electric and is very poor compared to a battery powered one. Even the button cell powered ones are poor as they soon loose charge. I was trying to use one as a form of mental conditioning and was crap as it would loose charge too quickly.

The best element to replace the tiny circuit board is the tiny circuit board :). Why replace something that costs 70 cents. But if you really needed to replace it, you can surely use some simple oscillator with 555, a capacitor and 2 resistors.
