Thank you, Yes the first year was painful but now I know how to sit so it dose not hurt after a long day.

We had about 50 cm left by two storms and lost the whole thing around New Years with rain and warm temperatures here in New Brunswick. Now its cold and snowless. I have a similar set up as yours and enjoy watching how you manage your snow and property. I drive a Bobcat sub compact tractor with a loader bucket in the front that helps with the snow banks and a rear 54" MK Martin blower and a flail mower for my lawn in the summer. I almost purchased the Bobcat blower but found that the MK Martin blower was much better built and made here in Canada. The skids on the MK Martin also have large rounded support platforms that really come handy when you have a long gravel driveway. Great video and keep up the good work.

Thanks, Yeah same thing here. around new years it rained for 3 days straight and almost everywhere that was cleared was completely gone. But it started snowing again yesterday so I'm sure it will all come back. If I can save up next year I would like to get a mower for the tractor would make life easier in the summer.

@@DoingThingsandStuff1 I use to have a John Deere with a mower deck for around 12 years and that worked OK. When I purchased the new Bobcat tractor I started looking for other options. In the end , I chose a flail mower. I had the flail mower now for two summers and I love it. In my opinion and based on my application it cuts grass much better and is way easier to install and remove. It works in a variety of applications, its size is compact, it doesn't stick outward like a finish mower or a rotary cutter (bush cutter) and yet it does a similar job or better. I certainly wouldn't go back to a deck mower. I also have an older finish mower that I have used on occasion but much prefer the flail mower. I don't like the finish mower because it takes much more room and it hard getting into tighter areas on my homestead. The finish mower is also to long to properly park the tractor in the garage when attached. The flail mower is great when parking in the garage and much easier to store during the winter months than both my old deck and brush cutter. I can use the flail for grooming my lawn or if i have to cut much bigger stuff like heavy brush. Just more versatile. If you decide to purchase a mower, I think it would be good to at least consider it. I have the same flail as the youtuber "A Ritter Bit will Do"

Thanks for the advice, I was looking at getting a flail mower last year but was out of my price range. One day. I don't like the belly mower because it looks like a lot more work to take on and off.

@@DoingThingsandStuff1 When pricing flail mowers here in New Brunswick most dealers wanted between $4000-$6000. I decided to purchase directly from the USA. I got a flail mower delivered to my front door for under $2500 including extra belts, and hammer blades . That included all the taxes, custom stuff and delivery. I purchased it from Betstco directly. Customer service was excellent.

Look up snow blower wing extensions. DIY some 5 inch wings and gain 10 more inches of clearing with that blower. I have the green version, Frontier SB1164 now a 74" with 5 inch on each side. The blower doesn't know the difference. It may not seem like much but less passes means less time clearing snow, especially without a heated cab.

Are you in low or high gear when your blowin snow it looks like your goin fast.

Always in low gear, 4x4 all winter. dose about 3 to 4km per hour I believe.

Why do people with blowers put snow the same place a plow would?

I would have to say because it is the best place for the snow regardless of the method used to move it.
