More than 10 palm trees flowering in my garden.

It's that time of year when mature palm trees are in full bloom. In my garden more than 10 trees are flowering in my garden including the very rare Trachycarpus oreophilus. Lets take a look at all the flowers and see how they compare.

Hi Kris you could always cross pollinate the chameorops with the female vulcano, just a thought 👌

After posting here to you 4 years ago about flowering, my trappy has flowered for the 4th year I'm happy to say. Its beginning to grow faster now, I moved it twice in its 13 years, its now 7 feet high. Hearing you say yours took time to get going makes me feel mine has a bright future. Many thanks Kris.

Lovely. Do all palms you know of bloom in yellow, or are there also other colours?

Only yellow on these. Some palms have white or reddish flowers

Thanks for this, helped identify my palms as chamaerops humillis. 😊 Should you knock off the flowers? They are nothing special and i do not intend saving seeds?

can The Chamaerops And The Tappies Cross ?

The different Trachys can cross but they can't cross with the chammys
