I can absolutely never get that last technique to land in drilling or in sparring. What's the secret? My tip always seems to end up on the strong of my opponents blade making the technique impossible.

Theyre not being compliant in the drill, and in sparring they're probably parrying the thrust.

Ich fühle = i feel Das Fühlen = the feeling Mein Gefühl sagt mir = my feeling is telling me Mehr als Fühlen = more than feeling Best regards from germany 🇩🇪

Never got why all martial arts try to keep words in the "original" language. Fühlen translates as "to feel", so why not just use this word ? Every martial art does this to an extent.

Because its HISTORICAL European Martial Arts. Aside from the martial aspect, lots of people are in it and interested in the historical aspect and want to pay respect to it.

They are using german sources. And everyone who uses those sources will know those terms even if that person does not speak english. So it makes international communication easier.
