What was weird is he declined to hit the first high note.... but then hit the second one which is even higher! Odd.. but great nonetheless.
@Frankincensedjb1234 жыл бұрын
No, it's pretty simple. Either you can hit them or you cant. 99% can't
@e.g.systems61466 жыл бұрын
First, I can't believe nobody has commented since my last, but... There's that girl again, singing the high harmonies, SUCH a great voice. Second, this song will undoubtedly be one of those classics which get played on the trip to colonise Mars :O) It never gets old to me. Third, Bumblefoot doing this makes me think that every good thing they say about him is true, a very kind-hearted soul.

Bands like Boston, Styx, and various other bands from that era... brought the goods and are *still* inspiring musicians to this day. Music back then was thoughtful and well produced. Not knocking todays artists... but songs like this are truly timeless and will never get old despite the years. I still listen to the classic tunes from the late 70's and early 80's... and in my humble opinion... there are not too many bands left who do music like this. Boston *is* great. I could listen to their first album over and over.

Like an old muscle car. Started slow, idles a little rough, but blows open on the top end.
@patrickmcleod1116 жыл бұрын
dan t amer hist Except that someone switched out the muscle car's original Muncie 4 speed, with a worn out automatic from a 1979 Honda Civic. The Honda Civic analogy is aimed at the drummer, who seems to over simplify rolls and fills, even when the original wasn't that complicated to begin with. The other musicians seem to be a step or 2 above the drummer in musical ability on most songs. Aside from that, I've been impressed with them.
@IAmTheRealKen6 жыл бұрын
I think he was talking about the voice of the lead singer (Bumblefoot). He has absolutely powerful high notes like Brad Delp did, but his low notes are not super smooth.
@moodylicious5 жыл бұрын
@@IAmTheRealKen true, but hey let's admit (those who sing); sitting sunk into a mooshie sofa is not condusive to getting full extension of diaphram, stomach and lungs. You can't open up and wail like that. What I love about this is the dynamics of this little studio full of musicians, having fun, playing this beloved song and putting out here for us to enjoy!! Good on them!! I'm diggin BF and will check out more vids of him and Band Geeks, sep or together.
