It took us a good many years, but we just ended up going with artificial trees. We were in a house that finally was big enough to allow for two Christmas trees so at first we got a real one and then we had a really tall artificial white one that was pre-lit. We got a big, bushy one and not a cheap one where you could see through the branches and it was eight feet tall, which we couldn't have managed with a real tree. The ease of it, plus not having pine needles on the floor or trying to keep a tree alive, really sold us on it, and the next year we purchased a green one, and had both. Now that the kids are grown, we just alternate tree colors instead of putting up two.

Hey Justin, partly because of you I went carnivore to address my pain and inflammation 2 1/2 years ago. I finally had a consult with Dr Bight. I had been cheating off and on, not eating enough fat, and not taking enough Lugols Iodine. I was also fasting. To heal your thyroid and adrenals eat more fat not rendered. I have a stick a day of butter with my steaks. At your weight you will probably need a stick and a half equivalent. Go lion. Steaks butter salt iodine for two weeks. Small potions all day. Fat will heal you. Oh and take some enzymes for fat. Lypo Gold by enzymetica. Two weeks allows your gut biome to fat adapt from carbs. How long are you going to kid yourself that you can eat carbs?

Justin, I haven’t said anything because I figured somebody else probably already has but, red meat in itself creates inflammation. And if you want to feel even better than try a plant-based diet for couple weeks or so and see how you feel even after that.

I went on the carnivore diet a couple of years back. I had gout, chronic inflammation, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and everything that comes along with all of that. I was taking seven different prescriptions I'm now down to one and that's for my thyroid which I can't do without because I no longer have a thyroid. Yes I no longer have gout and I went on a carnivore diet red meat and all and no more gout. Your comment about being a carnivore causing the inflammation is wrong. If you can't find the information which I can give you plenty of references to but if you can't find the information just use my personal experience as an example as to how being a carnivore does NOT make your gout/inflammation worse.

Horses are dangerous, Lily, they are much bigger and stronger than you are, even a pony like Blaze. Just about every horse person I know, even those with life-long experience, have ended up at the doctor's or emergency room at one time or another, with fairly serious injuries. Often, it is operator error, just letting your guard down and doing something stupid that seems easier or quicker at the time (for instance, I went into a stall with two horses in it to get one out and ended up getting knocked down and trampled). Certainly, an older, calmer type horse is not as likely to cause an issue, but horses are flight animals when they are startled or frightened and there is always the possibility of that happening. It's kind of like the boys and the power tools/heavy equipment - you can't ever forget that there is the possibility of grave harm if you are not careful and paying attention to what you are doing. I do think you will have a lot of fun with the cart once Blaze gets used to it again - that is really what he was bred for. And riding bareback is really good for balance and it is why those who grow up on farms with horses often have an early leg up on those who just take lessons on other's horses - they almost always ride bareback a lot, so have that natural feel for how a horse moves.
@GetToTheFarm10 сағат бұрын
aye, i have withheld my story with horse injury but if you want to know I do have a get to know me vid on my channel from when I first started Youtubing.... due to a really bad cart wreck... was in hospital for most of a year, had to learn to walk again and took me 6 years to walk "normal" - tho my leg is atleast 1/2 shorter and i have a limp
@Hisoga9 сағат бұрын
This, very important. Horses are dangerous. Even to people who know how to care for them perfectly fine. it is a several ton prey animal. A lot of accidents with horses happen, exactly like that, on accident. The horses don't mean to be malicious but they are big and heavy and we are not. A healthy dose of respect and even a bit of fear go a good way when dealing with horses, because the moment you forget how dangerous they can be, like Sharon said, is the moment something can go wrong.

@JesusSavedMe-Alizabeth4truth9 сағат бұрын
@ I’m concerned that they’re gonna create a problem with that cart! those wheels. I didn’t like the way that they were.. one pops off & That horse will never trust again they’ll injure the horse and the person in the cart.!! They’ll end up with a runaway.. you don’t Jerry rig wheels.. this is how my daughter ended up with a depressed skull fracture. She wasn’t riding she was watching and the horse bolted while learning to drive and drag!! It was still hooked up too! The horse bolted through a 9 foot gate ran through a garden. I grabbed my daughter like a sack of potatoes and went down, horse, jumped over us and clips with the back foot! Because the horse was afraid, and we were in an enclosed confined area that the horse literally bolted through
@Hisoga7 сағат бұрын
@@JesusSavedMe-Alizabeth4truth Exactly. Horses aren't dangerous because they are malicious. They are just, giant prey animals that spook and don't know their own weight and size half the time. The danger isn't in their temperament, it's in their size and their flighty nature. I've seen a horse truly panic once and when it went, it went. if you were in front of it, you would have not had a good day. and that horse was sweet as anything, just got spooked really badly. In short, we aren't saying Lily should be terrified of her horses. But, a bit of fear in the knowledge of the size and weight of an animal helps you stay safe.

Justin, have you considered since many of the supplements you take may be plant based that it might be contributing to your inflammation? Consider a 30 day fast from all supplements and see if it makes a difference. I bet even 2 weeks without supplements (except d3 +k2 and magnesium) would make a difference. If you are eating a carnivore diet and take plant based supplements it can cancel out the benefits of carnivore. Something to consider.

Good morning Justin. I recently watched a video on fasting and it was about fasting not being as beneficial as we have been taught. Mainly because, it raises our cortisol levels and higher cortisol causes more inflammation. That is my understanding. Maybe look into this and see if it's not really helping you out that much, Hope it all works out. I have a lot of inflammation myself and I believe any sort of stress is what is causing it, not just my diet. Blessings to your family.
