@@CombatpzmanFor one thing it means less plastic in landfill. The other reason is price. 4 litres of bagged milk is comparable to 2 litres in a carton. However unless you’re a big milk drinker or have a milk drinking family it’s not really worth the extra fuss of dealing with bags of milk.

Ok as a Torontonian, the guy going on about our airport code has a point... YYC = Calgary, YEG = Greater Edmonton, YVR = Vancouver Region, YOW = Ottawa... Really, YYZ... Why couldn't Pearson use our general code YTO, even Toronto City Airports YTZ makes more sense... (I looked it up, apparently Canadian airport codes are designated from the old Morse Code identifier of the railway station that the airport was built near, Maltons code was YZ apparently...)

I think bagged milk should be the standard practice in Canada or at least an option everywhere. You get so much more milk for less $. We have cartons in Ontario too but you get half the milk for the same $ if not more compared to the bags.

Canadian here. Moose (the plural is the same as the singular) are indeed dangerous, but not because they’re aggressive. It’s because, like deer, they often run onto roads, but they’re so goddamn big that they can absolutely destroy your car, and you in it. Or if you spook them and they freak out, they might break every bone in your body as they try to get away. Best to admire from a distance.
