As usual, your recommendation for Color Test Cards resulted in an immediate "evaporation" of all retail inventory on the internet!! Not your fault, but they ought to be paying you a healthy commission. By the way would you consider reviewing Badger's Modelflex paints? I'm a model railroader, and, while I gather a lot of good ideas and information from your presentations, many of the colors you review tend to be gaming or fantasy colors. Most of these have little place on a 1950's era train layout. Keep up the great work 👍

Thought I would add a handy tool that helps when paint bottles get stuck. Mr Hobby Cap Opener, aka GSI Creos GT56, works for perfectly on 10ml Tamiya paint jars when I do a less than stellar job cleaning or on seldom used colors. Saved my hands and more than a few "unopenable" paints.

Hey Rex. Can you or any of your readers give me some tips on the simplest way to make a top to turn my 1/16th scale AMT 1957 Chevy convertable into a sedan or hard top? Right now I am trying to soften a thin piece of plastic over a metal car with a similar shape out in the hot sun (100 plus degrees) but it doesn't seem to be working. I am afraid to put this in an oven because I don't want to ruin the car I am using for a mold. Is there a modeling clay that can be shaped and hardened into the needed shape, and then after placing the piece of plastic over it, heated in an oven to sag the plastic into the shape I need? The thing is there is are compound curves around the roof so I don't want to try to piece it together like you would with metal and a welder (as I have done) on a real car. Thanks. Dean
