As the other reply says, they're water-based acrylic, just like art markers like Posca. They are not super durable on smooth surfaces so I wouldn't use them anywhere that might get anything rubbing against it.

Your channel is the best! I am primarily a model railroader in HOn3 and HOn3, but I have built model cars since the first AMT 3in1 kits showed up at my tiny hometown “hardware” store. Your airbrush and paint input is priceless in any hobby! My Sharpie paint markers arrived today via Amazon and I put them right to work painting a 3D printed HO scale border collie. A tiny little guy with great details! I had him airbrush prime black and white waiting. The white Sharpie covered the black just like you said it would! In nothing flat I had a beautiful black and white collie. Just wishing for more colors, but if I have to fill in with some AKs I am still saving a bunch - thanks to you - never would have found them otherwise! Ol’ Shep thanks you too!!

Sharpie Markers are great for touch up work. They dry faster and don't smear as easily as the Chinese acrylic paint makers on Amazon. I have the Dspaie saw for a year or so now. Works great with resin pieces. I also use it to modify undercarriages on car kits. Nice and sharp, very controllable.

I’ve been using those files for a while, they work pretty well for nub removal too - they shine the plastic up a bit too much, but since I prefer matte finishes I go over it with a magic eraser anyways and if all goes well you can’t even see the remnants of the nub. It doesn’t squeak with more typical parts either, I think the bigger flat parts like you were testing on are really bad for squeaks. Looking forward to getting the paint, I’ve been liking the ones from Splash, haven’t had an excuse to try the limited ones yet.

How do the paint markers (both brands) take to Mr Hobby UV Cut topcoats?
@devinrussell4203 ай бұрын
If have been using Artskills Crafter's Closet 2 fl oz (59.1ml) bottles of Acrylic Craft Paint that I have been purchasing from my local Dollar General store for airbrushing all of my current and future plastic model kits;as a cheaper and less caustic alternative to the toxic & caustic solvent based enamels,laquers,acrylic laquer hobby paints & non-toxic water based acrylic hobby paints which is anywhere from $3 to $12 per bottle/jar depending on the color;brand,and jar & bottle size/volume.I pay about $0.80 per bottle and they thin and airbrush quite well using a few drops of distilled water to thin them out and adding a few drops of Impresa Airbrush Flow Improver;and a few drops of Pledge Floor Gloss (Discontinued by the manufacturer) as a safe & non-toxic hardener that prevents the dried acrylic craft paint from chipping & flaking off,and makes it more water resistant and UV/A & UV/B resistant from the sun's rays.I have also bought several 6floz. (177 ml) bottles of RichArt Acryology Premium Acrylic Paint from my local Dollar Tree store for $1.25 each and the colors are all rich & vibrant;and they also thin & airbrush surprisingly well and you get a lot of paint when it comes to airbrushing. I have read the product reviews on Dollar Tree's website;and they do not cover very well when applied by hand with fine artist's paint brushes,but they are perfect for airbrushing,as they do blend & thin very well.ColorShot has also come out with a water based acrylic lineup based on every color of spray paint that is currently available;but at at half the cost of a single rattle can of spray paint,and not toxic & caustic to your health unlike their rattle can spray paint lineup,and it is water based safe,non-toxic odorless acrylic craft paint that is a very rich pigmented acrylic paint which means fewer coats are needed to achieve full opaque coverage.

As far as the saw is concerned how thick are the blades ? Do they cut on the pull stroke or push stroke ? Pushing a thin blade and getting it stuck just causes it to kink like most P/E blades do sooner or later and are no longer useful. DSPIAE's blades are not cheap either.
