For those who are aware of the Sumarian clay tablet story of 'The Book of Enki' this adds a small insight.

I felt the same when i first heard it too, i felt like since we didn't understand it that the ego of science decided to call it junk instead of saying we're not advanced enough to know yet
@mcmanustony2 жыл бұрын
The narrative is wrong. It has NOTHING to do with "ego". The speaker claims that non coding DNA was dismissed as "junk". This is false. Large amounts of ncDNA have been known for decades on end to be functional- telomeres and centromeres for example, there are many many more. Much of the rest is transcribed into products with no function. Other regions- 14,000 of them- are remnants of genes that were functional in ancestor species- the gluo-gene for example. Some mammals synthesis vitamin C. Humans do not- despite having the relevant gene. It is junk. The human genome is largely junk- and the efforts of scientists like the speaker have only enlarged the functional part by a fraction of a percentage.

I didn't know that 97% of human genome information was still unknown. I wonder if the 97% of unexplained DNA information has the effect of gene expression due to the environment. If all the parts called junk DNA could be elucidated, it would be very useful for people's health.

Human beings have the ability to correct/heal itself through the energy we were created with, the genome and it’s language we operate from has the power to correct and rewrite whatever we need to be better, to heal, to understand more, it all comes down to realizing what is in you, how to use it, with a catch, it operates out of believe, our creator has endowed us with this ability/power, unfortunately people focus on the wrong areas in their life and get not to enjoy the full spectrum of this life, other beings long to have a physical body only few get to experience this, it’s a privilege to experience this, the richest you’ll ever get to be in this physical world, enjoy it, learn from it and above all explore, the infinite is waiting for you to discover it!!! Want to learn more, reach out to me,,, thanks!!

Remember when we called it junk because evolution predicts there should be junk? Then when it turned out it wasn't junk, it was okay cos evolution predicts there should be no junk? That was pretty silly. Isn't there a word for a theory which is able to predict mutually contradictory things?

@@mcmanustony I wouldn't know, perhaps you can enlighten me on how that feels for you. The atheistically driven Dawkinsian peddling of false and pseudoscientific propaganda that DNA was 98 % worthless evolutionary leftover junk has been exposed as a lie which hindered honest science in this area for decades. If you were willing, maybe you could learn something from this.

I'm worried that you will simply overlook the significance of a non-coding rna simply because you can't observe anything detectable by your tools/senses. Sure it will get you part of the way, but I'm afraid it will lead to naive solutions because capitalism.
