Thanks mate. Just work up to it. You may even want to try laying on 2 or 3 layers of tape and then lay the wet filler above or below it to build up the line again.

Hey Jeff just thought that i'd give you a little tip with your body filler you can get your self a file that is like a cheese grater and that will help you to take a lot of the body filler of before you start to use sand paper.

Great video any tricks for sanding a large flat panel? Glad the package made it safe and you enjoyed it! Forgot to mention how much I've enjoyed the Beetle videos they have been great as well!

Large flat panels is all about using the speed file and working backwards and forwards with a criss cross patern. don't ever try to work at one spot with the end to knock a little bit down, and also I like to use several layers. Don't put on way too much at the start as you will be sanding forever.

No I didn't have a windscreen in this car when I got it, but I removed the windows from my beetle in last weeks episode. You remove the Z the same way, you just trim off the lip from the inside and then push it out. If you want to reuse the rubbers it is more difficult, and if you are taking it out you should get new rubbers while you are there.

Dude. 3 words for you. Power. Long. Block. Before you get to this stage with the Alfa do yourself a favour and grab one. Air operated. Knocks down filler in seconds and you don't have to shove it around like a normal long block so you can keep it still and get your angles right and don't have to keep adding more filler.
