In the original version (according to Michael Dequina, anyway), I think she was actually the bisexual ex-girlfriend of a lesbian hitwoman, and she'd taken over her ex-girlfriend's identity in an attempt to live a more exciting life or something, so a lot of the weirdness of that character was originally supposed to make more sense. Still probably wasn't a very good movie, though.

I guess in this era bi women were more depicted as "promiscuous" and willing to have sex with anybody, so OBVIOUSLY she had to be a lesbian (except for one guy). Fr tho as a bi girl this film was pretty irritating

I think the problem with that is that even if they made her Bi it's not like she would be good representation. They already were weird about her attraction to women making her Bi fixes her sleeping with him but like it's not like they made her good lesbian rep before she slept with him. They should've just...... not made this.

I feel like there’s a lot of bad Ben affleck movies during the early 2000s. Like Daredevil comes to mind but also I distinctly remember this Ben affleck Christmas movie that some family members took me to and it was about Ben’s character paying some random family off to live at their house and pretend to be his family over Christmas. It was so cringe and as a child I just wanted to see anything else.

The only thing that made this movie funnier for me is the time me and my friends dubbed over the entire thing and made it "jiggly" instead of Gigli. Like this is one of those movies where you just chaos edit it, add some snapchat filters and voice changers and boom. Masterpiece.
