All of the Twilight books were out by the time the first movie came out so there definitely was a Edward/ Jacob thing for the first movie, it just happened to be only with the real fans

People love inception, and shutter Island. Both male leads. Both Leonardo DiCaprio if I'm not mistaken. Both very well received. Both very Russian nesting doll esk.

Late to the party, as usual... the soundtrack was so heckin' good. I was in my 20s at the time and working sound in a popular nightclub, so i spent a lot of time with the hipster barstar cool kids. And everybody owned this soundtrack. We used to joke that the soundtrack sold better than the movie. 😅

Seagal doesn't really do aikido. It's aikijitsu; aikido is a variation not intended for combat, but is better discribed as a form of physical meditation. Aikijisu is what samurai used to disarm swords and break bones. Also, from what I understand, Seagal spoke to any authentic Buddhist elders, but paid some scam artists to aquire his unofficial titles.

I thought the movie was too long for its own good, it could have been a short movie or an hour long movie and it would have had a much more bigger effect and even people may have understood the implications.

I know I'm 2 years late, but the connected universe idea they were trying for, was to hearken back to the Universal monster movies of the 30s and 40s- Dracula (Dracula Untold was supposed to be the first movie in this franchise!), the Mummy (The 90s version was itself a remake), the Wolf Man, and I THINK another creature. Dracula Untold wasn't great either, but nothing as awful as this.

Uwe Böll... He likes to squander money, look into it, especially the German film industry. Explore Bloodrayne, and the shlock companion masterpiece Blubberella. Truly embarrassing/genius.

Since when does box office take mean a movie is good? Yeah this WAS a masterpiece. Instant cult classic. Maybe you didn't get the alot of the references. You left out the most key details of the plot? Many many things that made the movie what it is.. I hope no one watches this and takes your word not to watch it 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

Everything about this film is iconic. Every single thing, even as far as proving toxic culture towards teen girls. One critique actually said something along the lines of "its just 3 attractive women being made to wear expensive labels" I still don't know HOW he missed the intended irony 😂

I love Mista GG but I feel like dismissing any criticisms of this take as pretentious is pretty annoying. The movie really isn't the most egregiously artsy thing ever made. It's just slow. It intentionally creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. It seems like they just wanted it to be another movie than it was but that isn't a reason to criticize it.
@nicolinasurel5 ай бұрын
I hate this movie, and my friends likened the fun of it to Zombieland at the time. And I couldn’t disagree with them more. What is fun about a pick me dude fighting through a girl’s toxic exes while being horrible to several women throughout the movie including the girl he’s after. This is peak “body count” shaming too.
