i can honestly say the grind in 256 can be cumbersome but i actually don't hate the game, especially for someone like me who actively enjoys survival type how long can you last games. Sure, the missions can be a pain but it's a game i would probably play in bursts rather than binge. It's not for everyone for sure though

battle royale is a multiplayer insentivised game anyway so playing it solo is already gonna be less fun by default.

The trading cards are effectively an achievement board that doesn't tell you what the achievements are. Getting them all is maddening. Especially since even online there isn't really a 1:1 list, just various conjectures.

What's funny is the version of PMW3 she was playing (Gamecube) had items like fruit outright disappear or de-spawn in levels, something I don't recall happening in the PS2 original. It's as annoying as it sounds lmao

I rolled my eyes at a few offhand remarks, but other than that, this is pretty good review. I agree with pretty much everything about Museum+, including the godawful 256 grindfest. I think it's my favorite collection in spite of that. There's just so much here for a price tag that would typically only get you maybe just a few of these games.

Thanks for the video! Your point is clear about 256 and understandable when completing objectives. It does take a long time. The charm in my opinion about 256 is playing multiplayer, specially 2 players. It’s like a dance. The element of reviving your pal gives the feeling similar to perhaps cuphead. 256 is a journey of how many points the team can earn and adding the world leaderboard only helps. However again, when in single player mode I can see your point. Thanks again for the review.

Dude legit got mad at a Pac-Man phone app game that was reused for consoles lol tbh I don't mind 256, it was made by the same people behind the Crossy Road games, and I like their work, so it doesn't bother me like Pac in Time does, which is definitely the worst game in the collection, imho

Funny since the standalone 256 game released in 2016 progresses twice as fast coz the lootbox gives you double the amount of coins and it has a random free lootbox feature which Museum+ version lacks.

I’m guessing they picked the SNES port of PAC-Attack for the collection because that version had puzzle mode whereas the Anthology (or PS1) version didn’t.

The Anthology version did have a puzzle mode, called Road to Godhand.

@@jackiexkh No? Puzzle Mode in the other versions involve clearing “levels” containing a pre-set pattern of ghosts in as few moves as possible. Road to Godhand is just a super-hard version the normal gameplay. PM spans 100 levels whereas RTG can _theoretically_ be played indefinitely.

@@thegreenfireball897 No, the super hard difficulty is called Godhand. *Road to* Godhand is the puzzle mode that spans 100 levels, and beating it tells you how to access the Godhand difficulty, hence the name.

A little weird and confusing, but I guess I can see why they wouldn’t just call it “puzzle mode”. More importantly, why the hell would they take that out of the PMW2 port?

God Damn, I was finally able to finish 256's missions 100% and boy it was a pain in the ass. By doing that I finally completed everything 100%. All furniture, all figurines including normal, silver and Gold, all the soundtrack and of course all the characters walking around the arcade. Not only did I enjoy the Pac-Man games, (except Pac in Time and 256) I also did enjoy customizing my arcade to look how I want it to be. Yup, this collection was fun despite some annoyance and I cannot wait for Pac-Man World Re PAC. It's so good to be a Pac-Man fan.

I'm hoping that the reason they excluded the World games was because they're planning to remake them, like Activision did with Crash and Spyro. It would make removing Ms Pac Man easier, they could even make "Pac Mom: Maze Madness".
