This song has a huge place in my heart. I remember getting out of the water surfing in Ventura California, and walking to the truck where my wife was sitting in the back of the bed Sun tanning. I took my wetsuit off and hopped in laying in the back of that truck watching the surf when the song came on. The sun was getting close to setting. Something about this song and the timing of it couldn't have been any better. Laying there in the late sunlight, next to my beautiful wife with my arm around her just looking at the waves. One of those moments that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Love it.

I simply love the fact that you usually let a song play through entirely without stopping so many times to immediately give your reaction, unnecessarily interrupting the flow of the song. Other channel owners doing the same thing that you do Morenkeiji I find so annoying to watch as they constantly pause the song every minute or so as, for some reason, they just cant wait until the entire song has completed before providing their comments. Frankly, I find your channel the best! Please don't stop what you're doing, and how you go about filming your vids. Other channel owners can learn from you as your subscriber list says it all!

I was just a young kid when I heard this for the first time on the radio... I remember it, I was asleep,, and I woke up to it, and it had sorta taken over me, it was a pleasant musical experience, the kind that you feel... hard to explain

This song is part of the album "Days Of Future Passed" by the Moody Blues that encompasses the 24 hours in a day from morning through evening. You should listen to the entire album.

I'm so impressed with you, that besides 2 small comments, you stayed quiet & took in the music listening to the whole song & loved your facial expressions, your eyes just lit up while certain sections got to you. Your the 1st reactioner that actually listened to the music before commenting on it. So enjoyed watching your eyes light up while listening to this amazing song that was released in the 70's, it's always been an impressive song with amazing music !

Thank you beautiful young lady. I'm 71 years young and can vividly remember when the Moody Blues came out with that song. Your appreciation for it simply transported me back to 1967 and High School. 😂

I will be 69 in 2 weeks. When I saw this I got my headphones and a joint. We didn't realize how special these songs are back then. Old Motown is better than ever too

Agreed, though if you're interested in a current performer, dig into Angelina Jordan. Soulful.

If you liked this you MUST hear the entire album, “Days of Future Past “. I actually saw them in 1972 in Philadelphia at the Academy of Music with the London Philharmonic Symphony. It was a spectacular experience. Recently, I listened to the entire album which I hadn’t done in about 50 years. These guys were in their 20’s and we were 18-21 years old. To listen to the brilliance of this album with all of its changes and tempos along with the masterful Symphony and incredible lyrics, 50 years later with a much more mature mind, I was wowed. This is a masterpiece. The best way to listen to it is with great earphones, a touch of weed, and a sweet tea from McDonalds. When I arrived I was in a really shitty, pity party. When I left, I was a new person, I felt refreshed, educated, (we are talking about unbelievable arrangements), grateful, confident, while sporting a smile. I highly recommend being alone. It resonates with you, this experience is for you, it’s not up for debate.

Heard it performed live, outdoors in Michigan at 16 several years after you did (I'd kill to have heard it with the Philharmonic). Transported. High I'm sure, but transported. And unexpectedly, unretreateably, on a different path than friends who found it boring.

There was a DJ who worked for a radio station in Seattle who used to play this song during his 'graveyard' shift (12 midnight to 4 a.m.). It was the longest song on the authorised playlist, so he would put it on every night and pop out of the studio to smoke a joint. It became very popular in the Seattle area, according to the liner notes on the CD I have.

It was put together as a concept album. It starts with the morning and goes through the entire day.

I am so pleased that you are reviewing this classic song and band. This song was very BIG for the Moody Blues in America. At around 2:19 take notes on the line -"Some tell me thoughts they cannot defend. What you want to be, you want to be, you will be in the end... Great lines.... The ending is so powerful & moving!!!......... I am tickled pink that you loved this.... My generation had so much great music. Make a note that ALL Moody Blues Music is very good.... All of it.
