Definitely not 30s. But I remember the episode (it was either a BW or XY episode) where there were these strange hypnotic waves that affected every adult in the area, but not the kids. Ash and his friends were immune but Jessie and James were affected by the waves fully confirming they're adults

It's accepted (by people who realize they're adults) that they're 25, but I personally believe they're 30 on the dot. Mostly cause there's a line in the JP version of one of the movies that they're "five years too late" to be thinking about love. In Japanese culture, there was traditionally a widespread belief (which I think is less widely accepted now) that after 25, you were basically ineligible to find a partner if you were still single, especially if you were a woman. 25 plus 5 is 30. (Jessie being 30 instead of 25 also lessens the age gap between her and Ash's mom, Delia, who is canonically 29. Just a fun fact.)

You know what's funny, Ash's Charmelleon/Charizard not listening to him makes sense when you think about it. He never actually earned the Cascade, Rainbow, Marsh, or Earth badges by winning a battle. And in Generation 1 those were the ones that made traded pokemon obey.

So, in regards to Misty's sisters: Their real hair color is _PROBABLY_ canonically black (I say probably because the source it comes from _TECHNICALLY_ isn’t canon it was written by the original chief writer of the anime and makes more sense than the alternative plus why even make this up if it's not the case in universe?). I mean....if we're being even more technical Pikachu _WOULD_ have evolved due to gmax not being a thing back then (and therefore the creators didn't have any reason for Pikachu to be unable to evolve at the time)....which would have resulted in a completely different alternate universe where there was no gmax Pikachu and it was a gmax Raichu instead....assuming gmax ever even came to be in that timeline.
