When MatPat makes videos about KZbin, they usually go one of two ways: Either on Game Theory (because it's either a more serious video about the state of the platform and GT is the most subscribed to channel of them all so it's the best to put it on, or it's a video about a game-centric KZbinr) or on Film Theory (because he's making a video on a work of fiction published on KZbin by an independent creator). Sometimes it'll go on Food Theory if it's particularly related to food, but GT and FiTh are the most likely suspects for "Videos About KZbin". The new channel is more than likely going to be based on Literature, IRL Conspiracy Theories and Mysteries, or a dedicated Behind the Scenes channel.

About MatPat’s new channel, I doubt it’s a KZbin theory since the KZbin theories get put in Film Theory since that channel covers videos, movies, and other visual media.

3 things. 1. I do not understand the concept of essentially "gatekeeping fucking time itself" who cares if someone is playing a game "after the trend has died"? Is that really such a bad thing? Believe it or not not everyone wants to be in on something "everywhere" and "popular" all the time. And last I checked we literally have a word. For older things that we love and cherish. Well technically a couple; nostalgia/nostalgic, classics, etc. I don't frankly care if he was joking or not because it's based off of a thing I've seen many people do. 2. Just cause you don't think it's likely/find it hard to believe doesn't mean it isn't true. 3. I'll admit Charmx always used to aggravate me when he'd get to nitpick every five words that MatPat said when we are all well aware that exceptions exist and nothing is going to be exact 24/7. Anyway though it's a good theory and I'm glad to see a reaction to it..

It's also like playing Pokémon Diamond or Pearl instead of Platinum in excitement for remakes that were actually pretty ok, but, not Platinum Version good. Back in 2021, I played through the main story of Pokémon Diamond in preparation for BDSP. Needless to say, it was actually FUN not having access to the Platinum dex. It felt refreshing to play an inferior game instead of the much better third version. In fact, it made me really appreciate BDSP more than if I didn't go back to Diamond. I know that no one does that, but, you gotta say that I have guts saying that replaying Diamond in 2021 made me appreciate remakes that were just the same game, but, HARDER.

As far as I know, what we know about the new chanel so far are the inicials "ST" (T probably for "Theory") and that it will be blue. So while "KZbin Theorie" is out of the picture with that one, "Show Theory" might not be. (And I mainly say that becouse I want more theorys about Cartoons like Owl House, and becouse I literally couldn't think of anything else logical that starts with "S" xD)

I feel like if matpat made his new channel about KZbin videos then some of film theories views and content may go down since usually videos around KZbin stuff preform best due to people on KZbin being more likely to be interested in content to do with KZbin while theories to do with films kinda rely on people having watched the film or know about it (obviously there will be people who just like to watch matpat but for the most part people are less likely to be interested in random films. unlike food or game theories where everyone eats food and nerds and/or people on KZbin tend to like games. So I doubt matpat would risk having film theory's content/views go down just for another channel
