From Captain Disillusion's channel, you can see a lot of film-editing tricks. If he were to film the walking machine on its own, he could with modern tech AI-edit out the machine even in a film reel. It's basically the same principle as the more extensive snapchat filters, or vTuber avatars: You set a baseline, tell your recording software "now ignore EVERYTHING in this baseline", and then add a non-baseline thing (yourself) into the filming area.

16:24 it's a turtle because those 4 are based off the 4 winds mythology of Chinese and Japanese mix. That is why they added a 4th after some time as well. In their regular forms it's is more Japanese lore... Tornadus and Thundurus are based on Japanese gods named Fujin and Raijin (confirmed in a developer interview). Landorus is supposedly based on another Japanese god named Inari. And Enamorus is supposed to be based on the god of fertility I believe. However in their animal forms they switch to Chinese lore being "the four symbols" or "four auspicious beasts" with a corresponding cardinal direction. You have the "Azure dragon of the east" (Thundurus), "Vermilion bird of the south" (Tornadus), "White tiger of the west" (Landurus), and finally the "black tortoise of the north" (Enamorus)... The black tortoise is usually depicted as a tortoise intertwined with a snake which is why it's design is that way

the four alt forms of the genni group are based off the four chiniess guardians of the cardnel directions. the tiger of the west, (landerous) the dragon of the east (thunderous) the bird of the south (tornadious) and the turtle of the north (anamourus.) and side note the tortious named genbiu is often depicted with a snake wrapped around it's shell or even a snake for a tail. so it's acurate.

Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist is a bad example as it has multiple forms (with different stat spread smaller are faster larger are bulkier) based on the size of it. But in the games pokemon actually do have varying sizes now outside of that gimmick.

As someone born on Boxing Day and is Jewish but grew up celebrating Christmas secularly as well (my mom converted, so we honored her heritage that way), as a kid my parents were very careful to separate out what presents I got for which to avoid bad feelings between my sister and me (especially since, like this year, Hanukkah can start on Christmas or my birthday - the gifts for the two holidays were also always separated out for that reason too). As a middle aged adult, I just tell folks to only get me something for my birthday to save money.

Personally, I like to view the height numbers in the dex as the mean height for that species (likely the mean of a normal distribution, but since we're not given the standard deviation we don't know everything about the distribution). Also, magnets work because an accelerating charge produces a magnetic field, which is what happens in electromagnets when you coil a wire into a solenoid (the acceleration is just centripital in that case).
