The FA community wants to conflate their issues with the disabled community and communities of color so so badly. Ex. Autistic people finally have _actual_ autistic people representing them in media. People of color have media that doesn't boil their characters down to stereotypes. _These_ are _actual_ issues people have faced by media, being further stereotyped and othered. I am from the US, but I live in Albania. I have a hot stalker, but I have managed to make him leave me alone for going on 3 months now. The intercom system is broken in my building, so we have to leave the security door open. Last time he showed up, I slapped him and told him that the time he is spending stalking me could be better spent with his 7-year-old son. He teared up, said "OK,"and does not show up at my apartment anymore. It was difficult because I got some hots for him too. However, I knew he lived with a young girlfriend across the street from me. THEN, he revealed he is also married and has a kid!! WHAT?? I have a rule about not messing with men who have a girlfriend or wife. He has both?? Girlfriend knew about the wife before she homewrecked. He admitted he is a massive cheater. I see, wife kicked him out, and he moved in with his girlfriend. I put a dagger in his heart when I told him to stop messing with me and go spend time with his son. It worked. ETA: When he kept stalking me, I finally opened the door to yell at him. He LITERALLY knocked on my door for 2 hours when he figured out I was home. I am not exaggerating. I opened the door to tell him to leave me alone. It was the 7th time. I made the mistake of yelling, "Go away!!" Previously, I tip-toed around my apartment, looked through the peephole, and thought, "Oh, this guy." I made it appear I was not home. He pursued like a Terminator. He did end up winning me over a bit. Once we talked more, I said to him, "You're an asshole." He nodded his head and said, "Yeah." It was the most difficult situation I have ever had with a man. I was attracted to him, but my morals made it impossible to deal with him. I am 51, and he is 38. That is saying a lot for me to be 51 without ever having dealt with this kind of situation. Sometimes we dejayed music for each other. I played Gratisfaction by The Strokes. He played Madness by Muse. He also played Shine On you Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd.

Do you want to know what the most dangerous animal was? Humans. Humans kill more animals than animals kills us, we kill each other more than animals kill us. You reverse the genders and people wouldn't criticize anything!!! It's disgusting how male victims are treated!!! Richard Gadd said that there was some things that were added to it but overall the stalking, SA accusations etc are true. He also said that he only put that Martha went to jail for the watchers to have a conclusion and that he wasn't trying to make a documentary. Richard Gadd also put out there to leave his real life stalker alone!!! You can't expect him to control the way people are nowadays!!! People are going to go looking regardless whether it's right or wrong!!! They do for everything nowadays!!! And I think that is wrong!!!
@kpoppy96353 ай бұрын
@littlemonster2483 well a lot of times male stalkers do a lot more than stalking...that stalking turns into breaking and entering, abduction, rape even murder...those are the male stalkers I hear about anyway. I'm just pointing out that the public are hypocrites. People call her attention-seeking all the while they tracked her social media down and gave her all this attention...
@littlemonster24833 ай бұрын
@@kpoppy9635 True but women can easily just buy a gun, tazer, bear spray or have a knife and attack a guy so both are dangerous!!! With a man it's easy to expect physical harm but it's easier for a woman to hide whether she would as people don't expect women to get physical. I think it's because that's all we here about men who stalk doing is that as it gets to that point as from what I've heard no one is taken seriously at first with stalking which I find repulsive!!! That is true in regards to the public being hypocritical that way but she didn't have to engage or start doing interviews. She could have blocked them on Social Media, temporary deleted her Social Media or just took a break from it. To be honest we don't even know how honest she's being with her saying people sent her death threats, harassed her etc since she is a compulsive liar. I'm not saying it's not possible or that she's 100% lying about that as I can see it sadly as people can vicious and do it all the time to people online who they think are bad and deserve it but she makes herself less credible by lying on tv.

My work revolves around online news platforms and some of our clients in UK journos have requested that her name be kept anonymous in any comments ( due to her asking to remain anonymous ) despite her being out in the open doing interviews. Basically the issue of her wanting to be able to say her side but not wanting others to say anything about her, which I feel says a lot about her character here.

I feel bad for her in the loosest sense of the word. She’s in the maximum stages of delusional narcissism and has fully bought into her own reality. People like this reject how the world works and think if they just SAY things and get people who don’t know better/don’t care enough to check to believe them… that it’s true. Fiona reminds me of the man who stalked me for four years. He would follow me obsessively from multiple accounts, post songs singing about me, and when that didn’t work he would find acquaintances or friends of mine and try to tell them how awful I was… all while telling people he was an incredibly famous influencer and that he was going to have a Netflix show made about him very soon. It’s been five years. He’s blocked. Still no Netflix show.

This show is relatable because I can't tell you how many times I've done something nice only to end up socially cornered by an absolute nut job. Important life advice: Yes, people can be cruel and bullying is wrong, but sometimes people avoid that one weird person for a good reason. So be careful. You might make one of the best friends you've ever had or you might end up captive audience to a neverending story about all the things they put up their butt this week. And you're never gonna know which one it'll be until it's too late. Good luck.

A little thing to add that might be funny is that the actress playing Martha was in an episode of Doctor Who called Partners in Crime which is all about an alien diet pill that turns fat into alien babies that are made out of the fat (she plays Stacey, the woman who accidentally gets fully dissolved into Adipose). The alien responsible actually sought out Earth specifically for its obesity levels. I imagine FAs have some things to say about that episode

I feel really bad about saying no to strangers or hurting their feelings but I’m also not trying to lead anyone on. The only women who have ever been obsessed with me, want to see me, date me, hang out, be creepy, overly sexual and not understand boundaries have been obese women that I don’t mind talking to as friends but have never liked their personality or found them attractive. Atleast here in the US it’s very difficult to actually charge someone for stalking. I had someone locally accusing me of stalking her so I went to the cops because that’s potentially damaging slander. You need substantial evidence to even file a claim in regards to it
@elysemulheron74706 ай бұрын
How is it a good thing it's insanely difficult to charge someone with stalking? This show only drew attention to the fact that regardless of whether you do or do not have evidence that a person is repeatedly contacting you or showing up where you live and work that you are unlikely to have your complaint taken seriously. The amount of times these cases result in something far more sinister than this man suffered should mean it is scary when an I country does not take these claims seriously.

@toaster1037 it is. I'm sorry you went through that,and to get sneered at is just adding insult to injury. It says more about them than it does about you - probably their own ignorance. You're not alone. Be proud you had the strength to talk about it. Personally, I've experienced both. Liberal minded men are often more empathetic while more ideological conservatives aren't, and while most women I found empathetic too, the ideological ones such as looney feminist hardliners were way more dismissive and even downright hostile ime.

If anything this should be of a reminder that narcissists and manipulative people can come in all sizes, be it big or small. Regardless of such, nobody ever deserves to be manipulated and abused. Heck, this could be pointed out to with the second person to manipulate Richard. They had a position of power and were also male and yet were in average shape and were much older. Nobody deserves to be abused and manipulated regardless of whether the offender would be big or small, old or young, male or female, etc.
