Well, in the UK we got a lot of Masjids (we call them that way) that you can come in. God willin' you will be welcomed in any of them, but do remember that we've some issues too with some folk that are a bit extreme and may create hurdles. Once a Black man came in a Masjid and didn't know that you've take off the shoes before you enter a specified area, but the Imam behaved very rudely with him when he shouldn't have done so as once a Bedouin entered the Masjid of Madina and weed therein, the Messenger of God (may bless the God on him and deliver [him]) didn't say anythin' to him and stopped his companions that started to run after him and later asked them to clean the place and pass water over it. (Source: Sahih ul-Bukhari 6025) So, if you got some issues just try another Masjid. Salām (peace)!
@rintendotm54822 жыл бұрын
You can always visit a mosque, just make sure to wear proper clothing (full length pants not those above knees ones) and take your shoes off before entering. There's nothing else that might offend the ppl there, you can always go up to the imam and ask any questions you got

After growing up strict Catholic, my mother wanted her children to have a choice. She encouraged us to go to our friends family's religious services, and that's continued into adulthood. I've always been welcomed in, because I simply show respect and interest. It's fascinating how the basis for most religions is the same, no matter how different they seem. Ask people of other cultures if they'll bring you as a guest, they'll be able to guide you in the traditions.

Muslims are friendly. If you see Muslims aggresive or even extreme, just to remember, they became aggresive and extreme in one condition: to stand and defend their religion when their religion is treated disrespectful.
