They got a lot of the money to do it from fans who donate via their Patreon! It's a monthly subscription of various values ($5, $10, etc.) that goes to Wong Fu so they can make awesome stuff like this. And idk if you've seen it, but they DO have a feature-length film! It didn't go through Hollywood but it IS on Netflix - Everything Before Us :) But I agree, they do deserve a major movie on the big screen!

Note that this is not even close to the budget of a hollywood movie. These guys are making high production value content on essentially no budget (relatively speaking, of course)

They should out run hollywood... these guys have passion and potential...with some love in between... Hollywood doesn't have that, only money... one can't outrun youngster with passion.. their video is very down to earth and relatable..
