I love that Huda always also considers medium and deep skin tones when creating her palettes so that her palettes cater to ALL skin tones in the end. That can't be said of all beauty brands. Thank you, Huda.

we should normalize having 2 different eyelooks on the same face haha i really liked the way it looked. I also ordered the palette thru Sephora's F&F so 20% not bad for a new release palette. I chose it for the 'safe' versatility, hopefully I can achieve similar results

I know makeup goes in trends and according to season but it just feels like all the palettes being released lately are downright identical: same warm colours, same price points and targeting the same demographic who most likely already own some (if not all) of the other releases.I’m probably biased as I loathe warm tones on my complexion but I’m genuinely curious how these can be selling anymore for each brand when there are so many options now. Just pick the one from the brand you like and trust best, no? I feel like they’re all going to be on sale very soon.

agree. i hope the tide turns and brands make more cooler-tone palettes. there’s hope - the rosy beige gucci blush and the brun et rose chanel tweed palette both sold out, and both are cooler toned. i hope brands realize this.

Agree, but they did that last year too, all releasing the same rosy based, cooler toned shades. I feel like the only different palette this year is the PM holiday mega MTHRSHP but I know I won't use a lot of the shades so I'm skipping it. It actually feels good not to be buying so much holiday stuff this year!

@@ddavidjp I just hope each brand starts doing their own thing so there are options for everyone. Everyone who likes and wants oranges and burgundies by now must have them in droves. They probably still have those colours from when they were the only things released in 2016-2018. How many of these things can people accumulate? The “different formula or finish on the eye” argument is weird to me when it all looks the same 😂

Light cool-toned here & I'm the same!! You're right. I'm excited to see holiday releases & disappointed every time... There's a lot of us out there who can't wear warm shades and need very light shimmers but we haven't spoken up loud enough to be heard. And I'm here to do just that with you!! 🤍 Btw... They keep getting away with it by enticing us with purported special & different formulas. Most of which are hardly any different or don't work out. Like those creams... 🙄

Definitely wish the cremes had some sort of cover over them. I won't buy palettes like that. It's a meh palette, to be honest. I have better luck with Glamshop, they do some flakes that melt into the eyes. Gorgeous. The Camo palette is still an amazing one.

The eighteen pan palette seems like it can be broken in half into two nine pans. The right side is warmer than the left. I never picked up the Jaguar palette, which I liked. The left side is reminiscent of the Jaguar palette to me. The right side reminds me of her Nude obsessions Nude medium nine pan. The formula is nicer in her larger palette.

Someone said that if you have her Nude Obsessions Medium Palette and the Jaguar, you've got this palette. I did get it, but I'm disappointed that the darkest shades (the black and brown) are creams and that their are two golds and three peaches.

Ok I went and pulled them out to compare and honestly I don’t see many similarities. The jaguar palette it’s khaki with green tones and the nude obsessions medium palette is definitely more pink tones

I was excited for this palette. Warms tones are my absolutely favorite. The hydride shades are gorgeous, the flakes are so amazing. The gels are pigmented and so easy to blend out. But doesn’t crease or get weird. (Yes I set the gels) I’ve been doing very natural looks with it but tomorrow (Sunday) I’m doing a dark look. The palette looks soooo better in person!! Love the formulas.

I would use a small dense flat brush once the flakes are on the brush wet it a bit. Goes on smooth. Yesss less is more with that formula

I love my palette but I would recommend buying this palette on sale, It's great but not worth the whole price. I have to say that it's really fun to "play" with this palette and the glitter shades are stunning :)

It's really similar to the side by side from Nabla and I prefer it for a fraction of the price!Although they are both made in Italy so I bet they are made in the same place.

I always say once you get a taste for indie multichromes and duochromes...nothing is ever the same, mainstream brands just can't compete! I do love my Huda Beauty "Mercury Retrograde" and "Rose Gold Remastered" palettes. The vanilla 28 perfume and White Flower hair scent sprays are also delicious 😋 You can always make the looks come out stunning btw!

I have such amazing multichrome shadows from clionadh that it's difficult to like the mainstream ones. I can't even see shifts in the Natasha Denona ones and definitely no shift in the huda one lol. I did just order the Danessa (I'm sorry if I misspell her name) Myrick palette so I'm going to see if they're great. I know she has a lot of textures too which is exciting.

i got mine yesterday... while i was a little disappointed by the creams not drying down, it makes sense. I'd rather set them with a powder shadow instead of having them dry and unusable in the pan in short time 😅 but i definitely need to experiment with them 🤔

Honestly I feel like I can get the exact same effect of those cream shadows from applying Nyx jumbo eye pencils in the same way. They blend in the same way and make an excellent base for mattes when sheered out. I really wish those shades were mattes and the marble shadow replaced with another lighter shade. I expected more from purple shimmer but absolutely adore both golds. A rich orchid/berry matte would have made the overall colourstory more interesting too. Hahaha I still would love to get a chance to play with this palette though.

Thank you for sharing this with us Morgan! Personally, I own just about every palette of Huda Beauty and I was going to get this one originally, but I think I'm going to pass on it now. I own the Natasha Denona palette already, so spending almost $70 on this one would be a waste. I’m so over these expensive palettes that just don’t live up to my expectations especially compared to pretty much any current indie palette. It’s really baffling to me that these palettes are even selling in 2022. I have looked at many reviews Morgan, and love the purple cool tone look. The gold in the crease just made it pop! I had my mixed thoughts totally. I tried a gel shade from ColorPop and realized it does set the shadow and adds a lot of dimensions. The gel liquid liner concept is new to me and I am actually enjoying it and find it quite revolutionary for eyeshadow. Thank you so much for the beautiful review.

I think a lot of times with metallic shades makes the top of the eyes look wrinkled even on younger eyelids. I don’t care for to much glitter or metallic eyeshadows

I think I’m getting mine tomorrow. I always forward to her big pallets in the fall. Honestly like last year was so beautiful in the year before and the year before but this one I guess maybe it’s time for more like neutral I don’t know.
